and he scored them in 6 years with us but when you think about his injury game his ratio must be good. whats he played about 200 games? it must be close to one goal every two games

These days, he's a goal a game player...which means he's one of the world's best strikers.

He must be close to being top in Europe given his recent record. Add that to the fact he plays for us, a team which can't cross a ball or accurately pass it more than 2 yards in the final third. He's the one positive but there must be more and more eyes turning his way. Would the board dare sell him? We look at RvP and think goals, they are most likely thinking cash.

First congrats Robin, fucking 'a mouth keeping shut' genius - a Wenger dream

We need to break every part of our bollox to keep Robin, he hardly every goes in the press and I never hear him complaining but Id bet my last bit of sushi that the guy has views.

We owe this guy, to bring in some more quality players, a defence that can look after itself and not rely every match on a RvP get out of prison pass. His goals at the end of last season got us CL football and it doesnt matter who he scores against, you WUM Joker, he scores and we win. Simple.

If he can pick up a similar head of steam we could be looking half decent but one thing is for sure he needs quality around him, we cant be a one man team. We must find good balamce and everyone needs to pull their weight.
But for the time being let him bask in our love .

A good time to post some of his best goals.

Still cant believe that goal didnt win goal of the season that year.

Top notch player.

Need to add some quality to play alongside him or he's next out the door. Probably our only world class player.

RVP.

Think his best goal was against Blackeye in 05/06 when we won 3-0.

Couldn't agree more. Surely, surely AW has learnt his lesson after last Summer?

Wasnt that the year that Di Canio's silly corner scissor kick thing won? Or the one when Trevor Sinclairs corner goal won?

Eh? Them goals from Di Canio and Sinclair were well before RVP's time.

Sinclairs goal was 1996 and won goal of the season.

The same season Beckham scored that goal from the halfway line and came 2nd in the GOTS :pal:

I think that was the bicycle kick for QPR though, he scored one at west ham when I think it was Joe Cole took a corner which Di Canio volleyed on and then Sinclair scissor kicked in from near the back post.

Yeah it was for QPR.

The one for West Ham, not sure.
