Was checking a story on (I think caughtoffside, sorry no link cos using my phone) and there was a linked story titled 5 players that would make Arsenal good again, although not new, it was interesting as it allows me to throw the question. . . .

Who should we be looking to pick up or at the very leasy sound out come January?

Their list was;
1) Vertongen - Ajax CB/Cap
2) Gourcouff
3) MVilla
4) Hazard
5) Benzema

The list is a dream grouo of players and we would have very little change from 100 mil+, especially like Vertongen, MVilla and Benzema but would take the other two!

so who could we seriously get? we have shown little to no anibition so we would be lucky if Kevin Doyle joined us. . . .

French and injured deffo a wenger signing. Not sure Lyon would want to loose him after only buying him a season ago

Considering we are not all that. . . . .I think a look at Rodwell would not be the craziest move. . .it kind of fits into that unambitious kind of statement we use the transfer market to make. . . .his star is definitely on the wane but I still think that any new manager coming in could work wonders with him.
