They can if all 6 of the goals were gifts. Their goals didn't come from good play by them - they were literally handed out on a plate.

No - I was watching the City Arsenal match - it was on BT Sports just in case you were watching SKY by accident.

First goal - handed to them by Kos
Second - Offside
Third - handed to them by Ozil
Fourth - ref broke up our play with a whistle for a non-foul when we had been all over them.
Fifth - Fair enough
Sixth - Dive in the box by Milner

Giroud should realistically have scored 4 - three terrible misses, 1 incorrectly ruled offside.
We had a penalty denied.
We had a stream off ridiculous offside decisions that broke up our play.

Good one. Their keeper should have saved both walcotts and think mert might been offside. So perhaps 0-0 then. Nasri missed plenty negredo or whatever missed three giroud style chances.

We deserved to lose. they scored six by your rationale every goal we concede is a gift and giroud should score every time he touches the ball.

Nasri missed plenty? He was just shit today, miles off the target. In that case Walcott's scuff in the last few minutes should have gone in, so should half the other stuff we punted at their goal.

My point is we ripped city up just as much as they ripped us up - but we didn't have the Aguero or Negredo to finish the work. The gypos pay a quarter of a million quid a week to three players in every position - of course they have quality all over the pitch. But they also conceded 3 at home and it could have been 6 or 7 with some decent finishing. That's surprising seeing as they spent the GDP of a small country trying to buy a defence.
