Fabregas would be good.
Not that fat ginger **** though. He's fuckin useless.

Thank you Denilson.
Decent player and did his best.
Was integral to our second-longest unbeaten run since The Invincibles.
He will be missed.
Pretty big shake up happening in the youth ranks. We've released a bunch of youngsters and have signed some real quality so far this summer.
Jamal Raage (gotta be a star with that name) Dan Crowley (Supposedly pretty awesome kid from Villa), Yaya Sanogo and Julio Pleguezuelo (Labelled the next Puyol and stolen from Barca).
Now I now "Youth Project" is greeted by a lot of sarcastic laughter by Arsenal fans but it's worth noting that the closest we've come to having a league winning team in recent years was with a young team. It's been the established players that have largely let us down.
Some of the most enjoyable football played by Arsenal in recent years was in the Carling Cup when the youngens were pretty awesome for several years.
Anyway, good luck fellas. Hope you turn out good!
Coquelin joins Freiburg for a season long loan
That's a shame, of all the shite ass young players we've had in recent memory I thought he was one to keep around in the first team set up. Always held his own whenever he was given an opportunity.
Yeah but there's no room in the squad with Fellaini and Cesc arriving.
Coquelin is a really good player, full first team experience for a whole year in the 2. best league in the world, could give him the break through he needs :)
coq is better as a full back. no presence in the middle.
years loan with sagna winding down. comes back next year. if he's willing to switch positions he has a future. otherwise no thanks.
LIKE ANY OF OUR RESERVES, LOANEES OR YOUNGSTERS EVER MAKE IT ANYMORE. PFFT. fffs.
Gedion Zelalem really impressed me in the Vietnam game, his passing is pretty amazing.
A new bunch of losers coming along nicely:

 Next batch of youth policy failures coming along nicely.
Losing 7-0 to a non league side really says a lot about them, friendly or not.
Surely the end for Eisfelds horrific time at the club. After the Bischoff fiasco you'd have thought we'd be more careful with german pubbers

Arsenal sign Swedish youngster Kristopher Da Graca
Arsenal have signed 15 year old Swedish defender Kristopher Da Graca following a successful trial.
The promising youngster, who has emerged through the ranks at Gothenburg-based side Hisingsangen Backa, had previously spent time on trial with Arsenal’s North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, as well as Chelsea, Aston Villa and Malmo.
However, after impressing during a short spell at London Colney, he will now move to the club on a permanent basis, although he will not be eligible to sign scholarship terms until next summer as he was born in June 1998.
The player himself confirmed the move in the Swedish media. He said: “It’s wonderful, it’s like a dream come true. I cannot describe how excited I am about this.”
Da Graca, who usually operates as a centre-back but can also play as a defensive-midfielder, is likely to be eased into English football slowly and will begin life at Arsenal in the U16 side, but could feature for the U18s as the campaign progresses. He joins fellow Swedish youngsters Kristoffer Olsson and Jamaal Raage at the club, but is also eligible to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina internationally owing to his heritage.
Good luck!
Please change name of thread to Arsenal First Team
Thanks!
What are the prospects in terms of young centre backs coming through the youth system? The only one I am aware of is it ignasi Miguel and he seems out of favour in terms of breaking in to the first team set up.
We have the likes of zelalem gnabry eisfeld and akpom breaking through in the coc side but it was quite notable that the defence was entirely staffed by first team squad members.
Where is the next tony Adams going to come from?
Harvard Nordveit was "the next Tony Adams" "best defensive talent in Europe" at 17, capt of reserves at 18, went on loan to Germany at 19 (they converted him to DM), sold for peanuts at 20
Bellerin joins Watford on loan:

Should be an ideal loan move if he gets some games. Zola .
Havent seen if anybody has mentioned this, but Joel Campbell is doing great at Olympiacos. 4 goals and 8 assists in 11 games on the right wing.
Cocquelin has apparently been badly injured playing for... whoever he plays for.
Likely broken ankle.
What's happened with that Zalalem kid? He looked awesome in pre-season
he was injured for a couple of months, but I think he's probably back by now?
Squad fillers always get brought on the tours, I didnt really expect him to be part of the first team set up this early in his career.

Crowley . The new Wilshere. Or hopefully not, as the old one is well shit.
We got one over Villa.
Akpom and Zelalem playing too. These three will probably be little bit special. Or just another three Wilsheres.
Wilshere
Awful Wilshere
Akpom joins League One leaders Brentford on loan:

Chuba .
Ox is playing tonight for the u21s.
0-0 at HT against Fulham.
Ox played the first 45.
Game ended 0-1, Eisfeld with the goal.
I heard Crowley is amazing. Apparently better than Wilshere at the same age but I have no idea if there's any truth to that or not. Apparently we got him years ago off Villa.
Best bit was when the opposition scored - showed they were actually trying and had been comprehensively outplayed, rather than being training dummies. Some good things happening at Arsenal again. I'm so glad I was patient and didn't get on the team's case like the rest of you did.
I've got to say.....and I hate to do so.....but Crowley's resemblance to Wilshere is eerie in that video.
It's Wenger's system. You listen to other fans and they are all jealous as fuck at the way our youngsters can integrate with the first team. We might not be building world superstars but we do build technically competent players.
