We've finally got a week off before the next game, Arteta needs ro give the guys some downtime, especially Havertz, I think at least some of those misses are fatigue-related, his timings are off in front of goal

No we don’t, we’ve got Girona on Wednesday. I suspect that we will not rest too many players in order to guarantee a draw at minimum
We don’t have a week off until after the 5th Feb where there is ten days between the 2nd leg of the nothing cup semi final (which we should make no attempt to try and get back into) and the league game on the 15th away at Leicester
Sounds like White could be back this month.
Definitely missed his presence with Saka on that right side this year. Their injuries pretty much ripped out what made the team tick.
It would certainly help, would be good to see how he and Nwaneri play together for example.
btw I'm working on the basis that Saka's out for the season, no point in thinking otherwise tbh.
Far more chance we'll rush Saka back before he's ready and risk that he won't get injured again. Whole run-in seems to be one huge risk and a desperate gamble.
Martinelli is expected to be out for at least a month.
:rose:
At least we've managed to shave off our fixture list to cope with it.
That's the most important thing, clearly.
Martinelli to miss Leicester, West Ham, Forest, Utd, Chelseas and both CL games. If the injury responds well.
It'll all be over by the time he gets back.
Don’t know if he misses the United or Chelsea games said at least a month and United game is a month tomorrow
With the exception of Tomiyasu who really needs to be got rid of in the summer, players have usually not been out longer than they have been predicted to be, some have even been back sooner.
I hate to say it but he’s hardly been that influential this season. He’s always been one of my favourite players because of his raw pace but frankly too often the effort to beat his man is just not there.
