Almost like a new signing! :dancingman:
Arseblog today mentions Diaby will be out for the whole season. True? A joke?
No idea but I don't think any injury news concerning Diaby is a surprise anymore.
Who even cares any more?
Pretty much.
Just had a crazy idea. Why don't we sign a midfielder than isn't injured for his whole career?
Could that work?

There's "Unlucky" and there's "Abou Diaby"
it all stems from that tackle. poor guy. need to cut out losses on him now, but if he hadnt of have his leg smashed in half he would have been a great player for us imo
Biggest waste of space of all time
Didnt he tear his ACL?! I tore my ACL and with just normal rehab and rest, I was able to get back to playing in a year. This dude gets world class treatment and he is still out for the whole season! We shouldve put him down long back.. When is his contract up btw? Or did we offer him a new contract for 100K sometime last year? I mean, we had to have upped his wages to make sure he stays with us!!
To be fair that tackle fucked his entire leg up, it's only because he has access to the best medical care in the world that he habours hopes of playing regularly again. The injury he suffered would probably have retired a semi-pro.
how? because his leg was shattered, most of his weight would have been transfered onto his other leg during rehab causing his body to go out of sync. his body over compensates on one side, and because he isnt in balance, leads to injuries. its not rocket science
He's being paid around £50k or whatever for sitting on his arse ffs
What a great job.
He needs to leave ffs.
the one thing diaby gets in his credit, is that you never hear about him drinking etc like other players. he keeps trying to get fit, working hard and living a quiet life.
im not supporting keeping him either, its time to let him go, but he doesnt deserve abuse IMO. he tries his best, keeps working hard to get fit, you cant really ask more then that
No one has abused him, any anger at the situation is aimed directly at the club who gamble every year on him.
I think there's a difference between gambling on him and just standing by him. He was injured on duty so I think the club just feel they have a duty of care.
This is why I suggested killing him.
You cannot kill what's already dead!
How could it be unfair dismissal?
He hasn't held up his end of the contract because he's hardly kicked a ball for most of it.
He's also been paid continuously whilst playing inconsistently from day 1 and being out injured.
Also there are laws in place for employers to terminate employment of people on long term sick, nowadays.
Nick on £52K a week, Shitmack on £60k, Diaby on £50K maybe more. What a waste.

"Are we selling you to Atletico Madrid? I believe, yes."
One think I will say is that Wenger doesn't really care about looking like a fool, he comes out with these ridiculous statements "like a new signing" and year after year the player get's injured and he continues to do so (amongst other things), he seems to have no awareness of how ridiculous he sounds with statements like this, it's just plain embarrassing and opens him up to ridicule.
There's a morbid fascination I have floating around my head that sees them selling Cazorla and buying... nobody at all. I would be what the ultimate WUM looks like. The ultimate "fuck you", the ultimate "thank your for our interest in our affairs". We could all tell stories of where we were on the day Wenger and Co set a world record that can never be broken.
