To be fair, we're beneath him. What he really needs is a Bendtner World XI, Messi, Ronaldo, Gareth Barry. But he has been forced to play with dregs to this point and some might say it has harmed his career.

im hoping this suarez crap was never intended to come to anything and is just there to soften us up for the inevitable bargain bin buys. Sort of like united are doing with cesc ahead of bringing in fellaitioni and baines, but you know, not as good as those too cos thats the arsenal way.

I think that's fairly unlikely. We wouldn't have dragged it on this long, it's hardly going to improve the atmosphere if they don't go on to see this through.

Suarez would be far from my first choice but
Arsenal + Suarez > Arsenal without.

Without him it's just another season where we contrive to finish top 4, with him...well, we won't be champions but I'd have some hope we'd be going in the right direction and will at least challenge. Right now there is nothing to get excited about as the new season approaches.
