Would love Suarez here.
One of the best in the world
Will never come though.
If we were serious about spending some money, we would have done so by now.
The lack of respect Sanogo is getting on here is disgusting
Get it done FFSQuote:
Finally for today, fun stuff in the Spanish press. No, really, you’ll love this from AS.
Headline 1 (picture of Higuain) – Napoli and Madrid reach agreement over the Argentine. Sub-head: ‘Pipita’ will play in Italy. The player just needs to sign.
Headline 2 (picture of Suarez) – The sale of Gonzalo Higuain brings Suarez closer to Madrid. Sub-head: Luis Suarez has shown his desire to go, but Liverpool won’t let go of their star striker for a small fee.
Some might say that is putting it up to us, that the ball is in our court. But not only is the ball in our court, Madrid have sent us a telegram saying ‘Hey Arsenal, the ball is in your court’, with a diagram of a court which clearly shows which part of the court belongs to Arsenal. In that part of the court they have drawn a ball, labelled ‘the ball’, and the part of the court that is our court has an arrow going into it and on the arrow there is some text saying ‘your court’.
If only they’d tried to get that message to us in a way we might understand.

Bidding for Suarez is just silly, he'll go to Madrid. Higuain will go to Napoli and we'll be left with Sonogo.
We all know that's what'll happen.
Pointless summer yet again.
Just taking transfer window profits by a different route, aren't we? They can't sell Jack yet, or Oxo. Nobody wants Walcott and it would be indecent to sell Pods and Santi until next year. So where to find the cash?Quote:

Salvio and Gaitan latest on the "ponder" list according to the Star.
They're safe at the other side of the world until the 29th at least. Then they'll be under pressure. If they can pull this off and get to the close of the window without wasting shareholders' money on football related stuff it will be their most impressive performance yet.
Afc Camden saying its 9/10 Suarez to join arsenal....
:haha:
He won't stop will he
Tbf, this is the "speculation and shit" thread, so he's doing what it says on the tin.
I think everyone is just sick of seeing jck shit done, and therefore it's annoying more than anything to see the social media making shit up.
It's like rubbing salt in the wounds.
Patience.
You've seen how short of numbers the squad is. There's no way we'll not make signings.
United raising their final offer for Cesc to Ł35m and according to Sky Sports
Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas is considering his future with the Spanish club after Manchester United made a second bid for him.

Moyes
Bless him.
Let's wait until the window closes. Because if Cesc goes for this then 100% of the embarrassment falls on our heads. All the Barca DNA, going home, loves Arsenal stuff will be exposed and we'll look pretty gullible and dim witted. If Cesc meant even a small part of what he said when he left then he cannot ever go to Utd. If he was making an arse of us then he'll soon be lining up with our other badge kissing captain. We'll see.

His best buddy has spoken. Cesc isn't going anywhere.
A shame.
Oh.
Is he super cool?
Our pre-season jollies are over soon, so I guess something will happen next week or so, if not before.
Also, on Suarez. I don't reckon Real Madrid are after him, it's Bale they want.
Hey Maccy, does Suarez being a piece of shit have any bearing on whether you'd like us to sign him?
Well, I don't particularly like the idea of cheering for him because he is an absolute scrote but then I don't particularly like our options if we don't do anything. Tough call. In terms of pure footballing ability I could see why we would want him, he has elbows like Bergkamp too I suppose.
Also GP, I think the partnership between Tottenham and Real Madrid goes like this: we'll give you money, in exchange for your best players.
Yeah to be honest though, this Suarez thing is never going to happen it's pretty obvious. The money involved is just not something we'd entertain, they can't write about it over and over again it doesn't change the fact that we won't pay 40+ million + 150k-250k wages for any player, as someone mentioned that's almost 3 times our transfer record and that's without even factoring in wages.
Probably been listening to this
