I think it was because it was in the last minute and only a loan deal... If we actually made a proper bid, and made Mata's camp put pressure on Chelsea, for not getting any playing time, i dont think Chelsea could afford having an expensive player on the bench and say no to a 20mil+ offer.Quote:
