I hope we push Barca to their absolute limit as well but I just have a feeling we will end this once and for all and potentially not in the way we would have liked.

Isn't that the going rate for a decent spine these days? Personally were about 3-4 15-30mill tier players from having decent squad when you consider Market rates and probable departure.

Exactly. Nobody is saying we need a squad of players that cost £30m compete for the title. If we did, then what the heck is AKB celebrating about? This guy isn't going to win us the title according to his standards!

Not sure why he should be booed. Yeah not doing anything to quell the speculation is frustrating but I don't feel like he's disrespected the club. He's just had enough here and fancies a change which is fair enough, it happens. From his personal and footballing point of view you can't argue against the move really, that's the club he loves, all of his mates play there and win everything, the writing has been on the wall for a long time.

Do you know what pisses me off most?

Not that cesc is going, or that we may lose him for a cut price sum.....it's that one of our lads is gabbering away to the media yet again.

We have a tradition at the club of being quiet in our business, and not airing our dealings in public.

Sagna has just knocked a few mill off the price with those comments.

Will someone at the club PLEASE stop making us a laughing stock and get a fucking grip!!

8 years of service. Came here and left his home country and Barca to play for us. That's not easy and he deserves a little more than that. He's stayed long enough and we haven't made use of him to win more titles. Time for him to move on.

I want a add 3-4 quality players to the side we've currently got. You could try and get them cheaper, based on there contract or club situation, but when you consider going rate for players like Young, Bent and Carroll, it normally wouldn't be asking for much for a supposedly *big club*.

We're spending a whole £30mill this summer on transfers... Oooooh, wenger must really be pissed. :haha:
