Why would you have a pitch that actually gets better to bat on by day 5?
That's not because of England's first innings score. most of that was inexplicable chucking away of wickets.

Nothing wrong with batsmen going for shots and getting out.
More embarrassing if you play defensive and get out. They are the one that deserve criticism

What a ridiculous punishment.
Aussies are in a crisis
New bowling machine installed at fenner's. one of those slingy ones. Some **** turned it up to 85 mph when I was batting and now I have a fracture on my left wrist. Luckily it's hairline and not my wanking hand. Missing the start of the season though.
NZ win the toss and elect to field :puke:
England 75/1 at lunch.
India get rid of the fat fuck and replace him with a coward who's scared of fast bowling. Fortunately on wickets slower than Mertesacker he could be fine - just like Vijay.
England 267-2
Compton and Trott with centuries
Trott went 2nd over today for 121
KP has his half century
England 465 all out
NZ 66-3

Nah. Top player though.
Aussies got 408
Their number 9 was out on 99
NZ 254 all out
77-1 following on
India 153-0 off 28 overs, in reply to Australia's 408.
Dhawan 105* off 87 balls. Fastest hundred in test history on debut.
Only the second 100 opening-stand partnership for India since December 2010.
257-0 off 50 overs.
Dhawan 173* off 146.
So much shit in the commentary box ,bigging up these IPL cowards. Best debut of all time, the birth of a superstar etc....he's an average player. I woke up at 6am and watched his innings after that. Did you see the bowling? It was, by far, the shittest display of bowling I have seen. Half-volleys would've been relatively good, they were feeding them high full-tosses outside off stump. And on the odd occasion they did pitch it right, the beauty of the Indian pitch would take over, slow everything right down and give it a tennis ball bounce that sits up nicely.
The fact that Gambhir and Sehwag weren't getting runs in these conditions shows a complete lack of professionalism. We know they're capable because at some point they have managed to get runs in some very difficult conditions - in SA, Australia, England wherever. Maybe age has caught up with them and they no longer want it.
There was a question tweeted in to Gavaskar. "How will Vijay and Dhawan handle SA conditions in the next tour?", and the answer of 'well lets just enjoy this' was far too kind. They'll be back in the pavilion probably before the 10th over.
I saw some of it but mostly later on. As always with India on a high there is a complete lack of context. It's a shame that Shastri and Gavaskar are all too happy to toe that line. The concerns are completely legitimate yet winning with specialist home players on tailored pitches is meant to be the answer to everything.
Gambhir has been getting out the same way for about three years. I think Sehwag is probably done. You are too kind in giving Vijay and Dhawan 10 overs.
153-2 at lunch for NZ
Just seen the India score.
Who the hell is this Dhawan? 185 off 168 balls has to be one of the all time great innings and against a major nation.
A new star is born. Brilliant series this is.
Very exciting last day ahead. India somehow collapsed and Aziz was denied a certain century because he ran out of partners. But then the trundler (the new praveen kumar) took 3 wickets to leave Australia 75-3. Australia now 14 or so behind. Clarke will be key - if India get him quickly then they've got a great chance.
Rain delays the start of the 5th day and its likely to rain all day. Draw is inevitable.
0-0 after 2 Tests
Tests
India need 38 more to win. And they have to go at nearly 4.5-5 an over to get them. They're 3 down. Dhoni and Tendulkar at the crease.
Dhoni leaving balls outside off. Oh dear, he's going for the last ball maverick win again.
22 needed off 29.
Tendulkar run out!
17 off 23 needed. Australia are bowling very well right now.
Could go either way.
Tendulkar run out.
Dhoni hasn't middle one out of his 25 faced. Jadeja's completely chancing it. Gets 2 fours. 9 needed.
Not a bad way to win it.
Aussies lose 3-0.
Dhonibot takes over and hits 3 fours in a row.
India win by 6 wickets. Good effort to do it in the 4 days they had.
India 3-0 up with 1 to play. Currywash on the cards for the IPL retards. Worst Australian team of all time? Probably.
India are awesome
That's more down to England being a bit shit than Aussies being good
Cricket.
I remember this game.
Well and truly watered down to oafs swinging wildly over 20 overs.
Do they even still bother with the 5 Day format?
KP out for 6-8 weeks
England won the toss and fielded
NZ 250-1 at the end of the day.
Cook :haha:
Australia win the toss and bat first again. That means they've done that for all four matches. Wonder if any side has been whitewashed in a 4+ match series after having such an advantage.
Aussies 231-8
NZ 260-2
Stadium is empty
Tests :haha:
399-6
Trott got McCullum out. How embarrassing
