I wouldn't say not winning it as it is a tough competition to win but at least getting to the final would be a major fuck up.

His predecessor won it and in fact did the treble, on that basis failure to win it would be failure, they were winning the league at a canter before he arrived.

Thought they were better before he arrived to be honest, his brand of football is something I find pretty dull, much preferred the football they use to play.

Interesting do you also find Chelsea good to watch?

On what basis where they better? Well they'd just won the treble and played more exciting/incisive football, he's changed their style to his preferred style now but it's not as quick and penetrative.

I meant what basis were you talking about in relation to the previous manager, as you phrased it in your first paragraph. I don't mean on what basis were they comparably better before Pep. It makes no sense to say that because the guy beforehand won it and the treble then the next manager has to do the same or he has failed.
