It's like a new signing.

Henry thinks this is a hollywood movie tbh. Slightly cringeworthy but so fucking sexy at the same time.
Let's have it then...
If I wasn't so incredibly manly, I'd have cried.
Henry was leading the MOTM vote even before he came on :haha:
"Round 4 will be about Dunne, Given and Keane getting their revenge on Henry"
No it won't
Bit of a joke that a guy in his mid 30s has to come off the bench and score for us. The strikers we have (RVP aside) wouldnt be good enough for any other team in the EPL.
Highlights on now. Mark 'contracts' Pougatch presenting. Don't lower yourself to their level Mark!
Second half on already.
Yup. We were dreadful but that is utterly irrelevent.
What happened tonight was footballing emotion at it's very, very best. That might be the only goal he scores for us but it would still have been well worth it just for this one moment of unadulterated joy.
The goal and celebration were indeed the Henry Medley  Not sure what The Octopus was in aid of though...
All the trophies we''ve won here? Do your research Gabriel...
Fair enough
I can see that point of view
I was just asking if that's how you really felt because it was weird to see such a negative comment. 'Some guy in his mid-30s', as you put it, is not just 'some guy', he's a club legend and I'm sure it was a proud moment for all Arsenal fans. I'm sure nearly all Arsenal fans aren't happy with the club's activity (or lack of) in the transfer market but last night had one of those rare moments where you could forget all that and just enjoy it. But each to their own.
Amazing atmosphere when he scored, fantastic to have a living legend back. My question is, what happens when the loan ends, thats why I am not as excited as most people. When the loan is over, we are back to Shitmack and the other bile up front. Anyway, watched the goal over and over last night, great moment!
Ummm, how did Henry end up at the club on loan? Was he transferred in, or did we find him under one of the seats? I want permanent signings, and ones that will make an ongoing difference. Henry has come in because Shitmack and the rest cannot successfully support RVP.
The Emirates lacks historic moments, there have been few nights/games, memorable enough to live on in my memory for the ages. Last night provided a moment I, and many others will remember for the rest of our lives. Moments like that are rare - increasingly so in a sport that has prostituted itself to the highest bidder.
If you're an Arsenal fan and weren't moved by what happened last night, you really should give up on football.
