Fellaini will be a great signing for West Ham.
Fellaini will be a great signing for West Ham.
Hart :haha:
It will never happen again...
Bravehart.
West Brom with that 2nd goal! What a beauty. Sessegnon was on fire.
Even Stoke- Norwich seems worth watching when we're winning. I am a fairweather version of Maccy tbh. Beautiful 0-0 on the cards.
Also, easy money on an away win against Sunderland. But then again not having a manager is probably better than Di Canio.
Even us winning doesn't make me want to watch shite ass Super Sunday's like this.
A job for Maccy and only Maccy imho.
Stoke are the tiki-taka kings now in fairness so it should be a good one.
 I don't really believe that, unless I'm right.
Sunderland - Liverpool should be ok though. Beachballs at the ready.
MOTD is so much more bearable without the Old Boys and Archbishop of Banterbury in his element. Even when Martinez is in a managerial job and has to be measured in what he says he's still 100 times more interesting than those cockends.
Speaking of which, Motd2 Extra is on in a minute.
Schmeichel, Mowbray and Neil Custis in the studio.
Neil Custis is rather down on Man Utd, which is a bit of a change.
Four of them huddled around a small table looks uncomfortable. Would be better off hosting it in a pub.
Stoke: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Huth, Pieters, Wilson, Nzonzi, Walters, Adam, Arnautovic, Jones.
Subs: Whelan, Pennant, Palacios, Assaidi, Crouch, Sorensen, Ireland.
Norwich: Ruddy, Martin, Turner, Ryan Bennett, Olsson, Tettey, Howson, Snodgrass, Fer, Pilkington, van Wolfswinkel.
Subs: Whittaker, Johnson, Hooper, Bunn, Hoolahan, Elmander, Murphy.
Referee: Anthony Taylor (Cheshire)
Ryan Bennett hit the bar earlier but not much else has happened, shockingly.
Begovic got away with one there. No idea how that's given as a foul against Van Wolfswinkel, not that it mattered as it went for a goal kick anyway.
Tettey attempted an own goal there.
Arnautovic goes for it but that's landing on Oblivion.
Stoke 0-1 Norwich, Howson. What a strike!
If Szczesny had conceded that, we'd be ripping into him. Quite far out, wasn't in the corner and Begovic should've kept it out.
This is true but Norwich need some encouragement.
Might not be the thread for it but we are really hard on Voycheck aren't we? He barely gets his dues when he's doing well (like now). I see fans of other clubs getting fanatically defensive over their keepers but ours get hung out to dry. Begovic hasn't done much to support the Must Get theories since the window closed.
Because we're better fans.
Probably.
Stoke 0-1 Norwich, HT.
Probably. We hype and destroy in equal measures - and most of our players go through it. At the moment it's the turn of the British talents who have been getting heavily criticised when Szcesny (has ghel banter), Ramsey, Wilshere and Gibbs have been a key part of the recent 18 wins out of 21 games record. Kos, Walcott, Cazorla, Podolski...everyone has been ripped apart for being slightly out of form.
Won't be long until we turn on Ozil. I guarantee it.
Undoubtedly. As someone else here mentioned, all your ex-Liverpool pundits think Liverpool are the greatest club in the world, and all ex-Arsenal pundits can't wait to criticise us. Together, the clubs might be able to genetically engineer some rational people.
Stoke are running out of ideals says Phillips.
Walters and Adam off, Pennant and Ireland on.
Jones does well for once, though tries to shoot from a very tight angle. Saved.
Crouch on.
Van Wolfswinkel off, Elmander on.
Good save from Begovic to deny Snodgrass.
Great bit of football by Snodgrass, equalled by Begovic.
Shawcross clears one, could have been dangerous for Norwich.
Pilkington off, Whittaker on.
 Stoke losing again, how long till they regret getting rid of Pulis?
Four added minutes.
They weren't winning much under Pulis either.
Did the Cookie Monster invade the stadium then?
Yeah, fickle as it gets. I particularly highlighted Szczesny because the hype side - actually, simply appreciation - barely gets a mention. The other lot at least get that to different degrees. I was actually thinking primarily about Man Utd fans (:haha:) and De Gaylord who got a lot of justified support when things weren't going well considering his age and so on. Similar situation at Arsenal? Chuck him under a bus.
