Verstappen :haha:
"NO!"
Lots happened but I'm not sure a race ever happened.
Hamilton in to first, Vettel second.
Rosherg.
Mostly a crap race.
Actually feel sorry for the BBC trying to make something of this farce of a "race". We've seen how the two Mercedes drivers collapse as soon as there's a bit of competition. I'm about a third through watching this shite. Why is it this multi-billion quid sport can't provide some competition on a regular basis? Why do you have to hope for mechanical failure across the board to get a race?
Blonde hype boy laps Alonso. How dumb is this? Alonso is twice the driver but he's stuck in a bucket.
Max Verstappen is F1. Only thing worth watching. Great driver. Stick him in a decent car and it would be a slam dunk title.
Verstappen is the definition of hype. Needs to cut out the mistakes.
Daniel Ricciardo seems decent as well. Was better last year though when he wasn't with Red Bull.
Most of the teams are behind with the hybrid engines. Mercedes were well prepared for the transition. Ferrari have bounced back quickly considering the major changes they made to their team but I have no idea what Mclaren are doing.
McLaren have a Honda engine that's 3 years behind on development. 2016 was always the target for them.
The biggest irony is Renault have lost out most of all from the engine changes even though it was them that were pushing for hybrids.
Romain Grosjean will race for race for Haas F1 next year.
I agree.
The manufacturers don't want any part of that, though.
By the way, as over-complicated as the engines are now, it's the tyres that are the biggest problem.
Not according to Bernie. Pirelli were given the all clear. They want tyre degradation just so there is more action. But with drivers trying to protect their tyres it defeats the purpose....another one of those crazy FIA rules.
We have F1 drivers sitting in their cars begging to be allowed to turn the engine power up so they can race. Can't do it, think of the environment, think about the negative PR. Whatever this is now it's not racing.
I wonder how many tons of greenhouse gasses are produced each year flying the F1 circus around the globe? That bit's not on telly though so no worries.
Remember this?
(You have to watch on YouTube because the cunts who ruined F1 have blocked it)

Yep. Montoya had big balls. Shame he was a dickhead.
Heavy crash for Sainz in P3 for the Russian GP.
He is alright though apparently.
Qualifying result:
Really interesting "race" shaping up for Sunday. Are there enough laps for the two Mercedes to lap every other car?
We pray for rain I guess.
Russian GP starts at midday.
Formation lap under way.
Raikkonen ahead of Bottas and Vettel!
Crash, safety car out.
Verstappen, Hulkenberg and Ericsson involved.
Rosberg. :haha:
He is drunk.
And now his car is fucked.
Horrible crash for Grosjean it looks like!
The car looks half eviscerated.
Grosjean crashed backards in to the barrier by the time he hit.
Huge impact.
Vettel and Raikkonen going close on the restart.
Vettel now passes Raikkonen.
How are they going to get Hamilton's car on the podium if it wins the driver's title?
Vettel pits and stays ahead of Bottas.
Ferrari with 2 x 2.2 stops in a row.
Raikkonen takes Bottas out!
Gutted for Bottas. Great for Perez at least.
