And no matter what happens with the board, manager, etc I don't see how someone can regret supporting Arsenal.
Unlucky to Cardiff. Whittingham is an excellent player. Once again they remain the 'nearly' men - this time with a league cup loss instead of the annual play-off defeat (though that is forthcoming). Cardiff defended very well, I thought. If only Miller had taken that chance late on in normal time.
Liverpool - I'm sure their fans and players will enjoy winning the trophy, and rightly so. It was won unconvincingly but its a results business and they won. It is a good time to play them now though, I think. We have opened up a 7 point gap between ourselves and Liverpool, and after a cup final there could be a honeymoon effect (edit: that's the wrong term, 'hangover' is better). Though even if there isn't, unless they plan on wrecking their pitch like Stoke or Milan, I fancy Arsenal's chances.
Here comes some shocking news - I'll admit I have a soft spot for Cardiff. But imagine if I didn't. Imagine if I didn't really give a flying fuck about either of the two teams and even as an Arsenal fan, I was bitching and moaning about a result that didn't concern me in the slightest when my club have just battered its bitter rivals in a critical game after being 2 goals down. If I had a disposition of that nature, I'd chuck myself off a fucking cliff.
Liverpool fans on the radio Moaning about how shite they were  Win a cup and they still moan.
Well fans will. If we struggled to beat a Championship side in a Cup Final, we'd have fans that would complain too.
