280-7, off goes KP.
England close on 294-7, still trailing by 233.
Ah there's a "bad luck" from Boycs (re the KP LBW non-review)
Boycott Bingo.
Watching the verdict. Willis pretty much agreeing with what I say about Cook and Trott.
good day of test cricket that. if we can somehow still be batting by lunch tomorrow, i reckon we have a good chance of saving this test match. knowing what the aussie bowlers are like injury wise, even if they can, i cant see them enforcing the follow on, they have bowled over 120 overs this innings and only have three days between matches. i think they would need a rest.
from an england point of view, this series so far and well the summer too, im questioning the places of trott, broad and bairstow. all three have failed to perform this series, so id drop bairstow for taylor, broad for tremlett and give trott one more match myself
The forecast is terrible from lunch onwards for the rest of the match. Unless England have two of the greatest collapses of all time, it's looking like a draw.
Dissapointing way to retain the Ashes really, given England are only just in this match.
Australia have to enforce the follow on, no chance of winning the Ashes realistically otherwise - their bowlers will get plenty of rest from rain breaks.
I think tomorrow should be ok. Might get a couple of showers.
Monday is bad though.
Basically rain all day from lunch onwards.
