Deadrubber and not really watching but just thought it was quite funny that Sunny Gavaskar says:
...2 balls later both batsmen are out. Gavaskar :haha:Quote:
BBC Test Match Special's Sunil Gavaskar
"England are just about opening up now. Both the batsmen were watchful early on, which was understandable, but now they've got a move on. India could be chasing leather for a while."
And I get mentioned on TMS on BBC Sport:
Played to the crowd a bit there. :geek:Quote:
From Ash in Cambridgeshire, TMS inbox: "Would Mr. Gavaskar like to predict the lotto numbers - just so I know what not to pick..."
Also seems India are FINALLY playing Varun Aaron. Some kid who's already the fastest bowler in Indian history - consistently clocks 90mph+.
There's no substitute for proper pace.
India win by 6 wickets and with 9.5 overs to spare. The most stylish batsman in cricket top scored with 86*. Raina hit 80. And no-one else in the match got to 50 (though Bresnan got close).
Varun Aaron took 3-24...knocked the stumps off with all three. Full and straight.
India Set England a 272 to win the game
England on 151 for 5
India win by 95 Runs, England collapsed bad.
White washed too 5-0 in the series
Good article.Quote:

One thing's for certain - for all the hype, England ain't great yet. You can't use the excuse that we just don't fancy one-day cricket, for better or worse, it's kind of a key part of the sport."
I lol at the term 'England&SA'.
England. :rose:
