Not talking about diving. When PL teams come up against European teams from just about any league there's a gulf in technical quality, maybe not in terms of the individuals but the team as a whole. The tactics, tempo, organisation, the way they can vary the play, it's streets ahead of the PL chugging. That goes for us too. We used to be able to play like a Euro team but that was years ago. Liverpool have come the closest since, but not that close.
Great few days for football. First Utd crash out despite their toilet brush tactics and diving routine, then the chavs try to cheat their way through but instead get schooled by 10 men. A small bubble of football happiness.
I don't think I'm exaggerating about Chelsea barely being in double figures for chances created over the last few months. If Hazard doesn't skip past a few players or fall over for the 435th time in a match, they have nothing. The majority of their goals have come through set-pieces. They have been dreadful recently. More teams need to be brave and attack them, because Costa and Fabregas don't seem to be producing anything either.
We better smash these alehousers for once. WUMger will probably go defensive and timid though.
