WUMger and Ramsey win Manager and Player of the Month respectively. No surprises there given we won every game in September.
Congrats to both though. :scarf:

Theirry
I hope not. Forgot about Puma's rank skin tight kits.
They are not kind on the fans!
Looks good, a nice and simple design.
Don't like the look of that training top or whatever it is Bif has on though.
Has a post been deleted from this page?
You could say it floated away...
By the poster or mods....
I'm trying to ascertain what is acceptable and what isn't on this board. I remember something equally as 'unPC' if not more so in another thread and nobody deleted that.....
Without knowing what was deleted, I can't comment. Did you diss the memory of Pat Lampard?
Well anything too over the top should be recognised by yourself really after you post it, I have had a few cases of posting something and then realising it was a tad ott and deleted/edited it afterwards. The post which was deleted was gold though, and meant in good humour  . Its certainly less strict now though, on the last board I got banned after posting one 'offensive' remark
... and moving on, Bergkamp says he wants to return
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BWFbLu9IgAAAvMj.jpg
Bergkamp: "The feeling Johan Cruyff has had for Barcelona, I have the same with Arsenal. It is part of my ambition to come back"
Bergkamp: “At Arsenal it was a good click. I always enjoyed it. I never had a bad day there. It is always on my mind."
Bergkamp: "I’ve spoken to Vieira and Henry who'd love to come back to Arsenal one day. Tony [Adams] is a big option as well.”
Bergkamp: "I don’t see myself as a manager. I see myself as being part of the coaching staff. I really enjoy that role."
Bergkamp: "I know I will be here [at Ajax] for at least another three or five years & then I don’t know"

Last lines. Wenget :bow:Quote:
Wenger told Arsenal's official website: "The policy is exactly the same - I always want to bring the best players in here, world-class players, at the best possible price.
"Now we are in a more comfortable financial position, I - more than anyone - want the great players to play for Arsenal. If we have to spend the money to do that, I will spend the money."
"And I want to continue to educate 60 to 80 per cent of the squad ourselves. The culture of the club, the way we want to play football and the way we want to behave, comes from within.
"The (Jack) Wilsheres, the (Aaron) Ramseys, the (Kieran) Gibbs - these kind of players have to be the culture of the club.
"Then on top of that, we want to bring world-class players who will help us to be even stronger."
Responsibility
Wenger, who splashed out over £40million on Ozil, added: "It's a big responsibility to spend that amount of money.
"But I feel comfortable with it because we had the money to do it. Before, we couldn't have done it because we didn't have the money available. It's as simple as that.
"I had a huge sense of responsibility when we built the stadium to get the club through it without going bankrupt.
"The first years were difficult, and also explained why we lost some players.
"Now we are in a more comfortable financial position, I - more than anyone - want the great players to play for Arsenal. If we have to spend the money to do that, I will spend the money."

Wenget does speak so well talking about Arsenal. If only he didn't ruin it by being a complete mentalist.

Arsenal AGM from the mirror...
BRILLIANT response from Sir Chips on the question of the Qatar World Cup in 2022:
"I won't be going - I probably won't still be alive!"
«@DarrenArsenal1 Open questions "do we regret that we didn't participate with NBC in promotion of coverage but Spurs did "»
«@DarrenArsenal1 Ivan "it's true there was a Bale poster in time square, but he doesn't play for Spurs anymore, alas he now plays for one of our rivals"»
:haha:

Santi is back
Looks like he puts on a few pounds though he's always looked like that, despite being one of the fittest guys around.
On a side note I hate international breaks. This place becomes so dead during them.
Yeah I thought he looked slightly fat at first when I saw that now aswell
Not to worry though, its all :good:

I think he'll be on the bench, Wenger to put him on if we're winning at 80, if we're drawing/losing at 70
Bergkamp is going to be on Football Focus tomorrow
Haven't seen it in ages, will make an exception
Bergkamp wants to come coach at arsenal. Sign him up.

Ferguson wrote:
My recollection of that fabled incident is that when Ruud van Nistelrooy came into the dressing room, he complained that Arsene Wenger had been giving him stick as he left the pitch. Right away I rushed out to say to Arsene: ‘You leave my players alone.’ He was incensed at losing the game. That was the reason for his combative behaviour. The next thing I knew I had pizza all over me. They say it was Cesc Fabregas who threw the pizza at me but, to this day, I have no idea who the culprit was.
Following the release of this extract, influential Arsenal blogger Arseblog posted an image of a pizza slice onto his Instagram page.
Amazingly, Cesc Fabregas immediately liked the image, further suggesting that he was indeed responsible for Pizzagate.

John Cross put this out, apparently Ozil was at Brent Cross today ... and they did this:

Articles of Cesc saying he'd like to return one day in a coaching role are doing the rounds.
Fuck off , you left us, stop coming back to use us again. Use Barca.
He actually said if he can't come back to play, he'd like to come back in another capacity.
Every true Gooner would welcome him home.
Unlike other club legends that are currently involved with the club, Cesc doesn't get a free pass. If he is useful as a coach, scout or whatever, then great. But if we can hire someone better for the job, then tactregas can take his superior non-wenger-taught genius elsewhere.
To be honest, I rather Cesc shut up and focus on his own club (this goes to every former players). I prefer they keep it quiet like RVP, man the feck up and keep to himself. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what they say about their love for Arsenal, they LEFT and dissapoint many loyal fans. :coffee:
