I remember him being touted as the next big thing when he was in his teens.
Brock Lesnar F5'd him though and took that mantle and Hernanes became a bit shit.
Apparently hes a bit decent now again though

Do we sell RVP for £25m knowing the money will go in to the boards and Wengers pockets? Or do we keep him another year meaning he goes for free and the board and Wengers pockets are £25m lighter although how they can tell the difference with the millions already in them. i'll never knowQuote:
Robin van Persie's agent has reportedly held talks with Juventus, who are prepared to pay Arsenal in excess of £25m for the Dutch striker.

One player keen to leave the Emirates this summer is goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, who wants to stay in England and join another Premier League club.

Under £10m for a world class striker like Podolski is pretty good. Makes me think it wont happen or he has a long term injury problem
Yay
Well since he's been playing for his team i doubt he is Injured its more to do with his contract running down.
As for RVP we'll probs take the money it would be silly not too unless we cab be sure we'll get more from someone else.
But it seems like BS to me Can't really see anyone paying 25 mill for him as good as he has been.
We keep RvP, this time it would be silly, suicidal and show that we really do no longer any kind of ambition if we decide to cash in the same we did with Cesc and Nasbo.
We buy iPod for 10 and compliment ourselves on a good bit of business and say hey Robin, thats just the start of it
If RvP is sold this year we might as well get rid of Jack and Ox too so we can get maximum prices and not risk losing money as their contracts run down. Ches could be sold too for a fair amount and I think we could get decent money for TV and Kos. Song is another who would fetch good money. Theo. Lot's of money to be had and we'd still have Chamakh, Almunia, Diaby, we could bring Denilson back, and Nick. We wouldn't necessarily have to sell all the players, keep at least 11 so we can still pretend to be a football club.
RVP wants to win trophies, while the board and the manager seem satisfied if we maintain 4th spot for the foreseeable future, even if it means no trophies. Unless Wenger gives RVP a cast iron guarantee that we will make high quality signings in the summer (high quality meaning high quality, not mediocre bargain basement signings like Gervinho), I can see him leaving.
