Dhoni rescue mission on one leg
Why is he even playing.
Now someone's hit malinga with a bottle of water
Dhoni trying another hero-job. 9 needed off 4.
He's done it :haha:
Fucking hell. That guy is something else.
Genuinely thought that was beyond him. He can't even jog ffs.
He just makes me laugh. What a weirdo.
Sure I wasn't the only one mumbling abuse at him when he kept hobbling singles off the first ball. He seemingly makes the most ridiculous decisions and then when the situation's almost impossible, he gets them home. Don't think Beven was even in the same league in terms of being the maverick. Australia were always favourites and he would just finish 40 off 40 balls. The way Dhoni carries the tailenders through it is remarkable.
"The most flexible player of the series."
"Cycle Agarbatthie's Most trusted player of the series."
What the fuck are these awards?
Dunno. They've been handing out silly cheques after every game. Getting their sponsors in, I suppose.
:haha: Arun Lal the clown forgets to present the trophy.
Dhoni is a different kind of finisher because of that ability to shit a colossal six out of nowhere. From what I know Bevan was more of a knock and run type. Dhoni compromised in that regard today by his dodgy hamstring. So might as well leave 15 for the last over and hit a couple of sixes. You've actually seen him do it before where there's loads of wickets in hand and he takes it to the last few balls for no apparent reason anyway.
:haha:
Funniest presentation ceremony of all time.
Couldn't understand a word B Kumar was saying. Worse than Adebayor.
Has Cripps started a new thread because he got banned from this thread or something? Or did he just finally concede the point. If it's the former, this thread should continue.
It's the former.
Dhoni
Beast of a man.
this threads too big, we need a new cricket thread.
I was at Hove, watching some pub teamers playing the ICC European t20 or some bollocks like that. Shockingly low quality stuff, but enjoyable nonetheless. The majority of Italy and Denmark's teams were Indian or Pakistani though, didn't hear a word of Italian or Danish spoken out there!
Afridi scores 76 and took 7 wickets for 12 runs in pakistan's win against West Indies.
DSL :haha:
JtL :haha:
Dennis Bendtner :haha:
Afretard
Damn, 7 wickets in a ODI, mental, and he didn't even need his full 10 overs! Cricket would benefit from a stronger Windies team, as of old though.
It doesn't help that their most talented player missed the prime years of his career due to contract issues as because he prioritised IPL (non) cricket.
The West Indian people are crazy for cricket. Yet we saw in the 2007 World Cup how much ridiculous ticket prices and general administration is ruining the game over there. They just have so much raw talent that is going to waste because of improper coaching. Time for Sir Viv et al. to do some mentoring.
India won the 2nd ODI v Zimbabwe by 58 runs
Dhawan with a century

India v Pakistan the must watch match
It's the biggest rivalry in cricket
With the exception of Sri-Lanka we have quite a good draw there, Australia are no better at one day cricket presently than they are at Test Cricket.
Quote:
Indian cricketer S Sreesanth has been charged with 38 other people over a spot-fixing scandal that has rocked the Indian Premier League.
Prosecutors brought charges of criminal conspiracy and cheating against Sreesanth, two of his Rajasthan Royals team-mates, and other non-cricketers.
Spot-fixing involves players bowling wides and no-balls at certain times arranged beforehand with bookmakers.
Sreesanth and team-mates Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan deny the charges.
They were arrested in May along with scores of bookmakers.
A separate spot-fixing investigation by cricket officials led to cricket chief N Srinivasan stepping aside last month pending the outcome of the probe.
He left his post as the head of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan was arrested for suspected spot-fixing.
He and his Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise were exonerated by the inquiry, but the Bombay High Court has now ordered a "re-investigation".
Correspondents say the ruling could delay the return of Mr Srinivasan.
The scandal broke in May when Sreesanth, Chavan and Chandila were arrested.
Sreesanth and Chavan were later freed on bail, but Chandila remains in jail.
The trio, all bowlers, were suspended by India's cricket board and the Rajasthan Royals.
The IPL is considered to be the world's showcase for Twenty20 cricket.
Top Indian and international players take part, contributing to what is the world's richest cricket tournament.

Brilliant match and ending. Cricket is truly alive and well after a shocker so far this summer
