Robbie Keane :lol:Apparently it was a dream to play in the MLS. He's said the same shit for all the clubs he's played for I think
I don't even want to talk about our so-called transfer targets anymore, just depresses me.
:gp:
Apart from not signing his new contract, Nasri hasnt done anything wrong to this club. Dont understand hatred towards Nasri, he clearly said he wants to play for ambitious team. Arsenal isnt ambitious enough, that's why players are leaving, period! :coffee:
http://www.fanatix.com/news/arsenal-...idfielder-937/Quote:
Joe Cole has emerged as a shock transfer target for Arsenal as the Londoners prepare for life without Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.
The Liverpool midfielder has struggled to hold down a regular place in Kenny Dalglish's side after enduring a difficult debut season characterised by injuries and a loss of form.
Cole's situation on Merseyside has been compounded further by the summer arrivals of midfield signings Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam and Stewart Downing.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is now willing to offer Cole an escape route from his Anfield nightmare as the French tactician seeks replacements for Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, who are bound for Barcelona and Manchester City respectively.
Wenger still sees potential in Cole and he believes the former West Ham man can still do a job in central midfield or on the left-wing.
The Merseyside club are looking to get Cole's £90,000 weekly wages off their books, but Wenger will ask the player to take a considerable pay-cut if he is to secure a switch back to London.
The 29-year-old's switch from Chelsea to Liverpool wad widely regarded as one of the major transfers coups of last summer, with former Kop boss Roy Hodgson snapping up the playmaker on a free.
Premier League new boys QPR have also been linked with a move but Cole is convinced he can still play at the very top level.
:ilt: if this happens.
although I do remember being not against Cole when he was leaving Chelsea he has proven he hasnt got what it takes and we would be stupid to pay anything for him
we are going to be linked with every need a job player there is..........a got a few spare pinches of salt for these rumours to be taken with if anyone is in need
I just don't get the attitude Wenger has towards transfers, yesterday he mentioned Jenkinson, Gervinho, Oxo Cuby and Miyake (or whatever his name is) and pointed to the fact they mustn't be forgotten as they are new signings.
3 of them are kids who in reality won't be ready to make an impact and yet he see's those as significant additions and then says he'll only add if he finds the right players. It's very confusing as we could have signed loads of players who improve us, for some reason Wenger doesn't see them and often goes and signs players who don't improve us.
His attitude is weird, he's failed for 6 years, is losing players left right and centre and yet refuses to make changes and make some quality signings for once, it's like he prefers to fail then spend money, even when he has cash burning a hole in his pocket.
What happened to the man who use to love winning and built the top teams we saw, what has made him view 4th as a trophy and made him lose his hunger for success. People say he's hungry for success, but what evidence is there, everytime he fails he changes next to nothing.
Pretty much, a lot of anger directed at the players who want to leave, yet the fans hate what's going on just as much. I'm confused as to why they expect players to want to stick around in what is a losing side at a club with a losing mentality.
Got no problems with the players leaving, they haven't done anything bad to the club, they just want to be somewhere where they can believe success is possible and not experience calamitous collapses when it matters most.
If I was a player I'd do the same, I'd leave because frankly no changes, constant failures and no ambition would be very disheartening. I'd prefer to be at a club who aim to better themselves than at one who see 4th place as some momentus success.
Fucksake. We're going into a champs league qualifier, a home game at Liverpool, and away game at Utd with 17 squad players. Of whom, Diaby, Wilshire, Rosicky are unfit. Bender, Eboue, Almunia off. And Nasri on strike.
Song will be suspended for the league ties, RVP is suspended tonight (as is Arsene btw). Gervinho is now going to be out for four games because our STUPID manager is on a moral crusade which he has no hope of winning.
And we're looking at buying bargain basement shite....maybe.
We have no fucking payers.
WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!!
As Wenger said, there is reason to be positive.
I don't know if anyone can make sense of what Wenger does these days, it's all very odd......when you lose a top player you always look to spend the cash on a replacement, he doesn't seem to be too concerned.
Wenger
:upset:
It's bizarre.
I mean, I'm all for adding promising players, and AOC, Campbell, Miyachi and Jenkinson are all very promising. Fair dos, excellent, can't wait to see what they become. Fully behind their purchase.
But to say we're not signing anyone else because these unprovens are to be given a chance is fucking ludicrous.
We've got the toughest opening few games I can remember in a season, and we have no seniority. Nobody has yet been given club captain status. We have injuries and suspensions. The fans are unhappy, the players are unhappy, and there doesn't seem to be much light at the end of the tunnel.
Can you imagine if things don't go our way tonight?
All that fist shaking from the upper tier, would not want to be on the end of that!
If we go 1-0 down my monocle may fall out <_<

Oh ffs.
Look he is a decent striker when played as a striker, he is not a right or left winger and he is quite the tosser, he is also not really needed so just sell the cunt.
jesus if we end up keeping hiom and Nasri its the final straw
A proper club would have some new signings announced before the game if their captain and best player had just been sold.
Not us.
The players must feel like shit. Where is this club going?
It's going to be a very nasty atmosphere tonight.
think rvp and theo may think about leaving next year if we carry on at this rate.
the club is a disaster atm.
not really new news but we have been linked with honda again. seems realistic as there doesnt seem to be anyone else that is linked with him that can come and offer 50p more than we have and win the bidding war!
As Arseblog says i cant see the club buying a pint of milk at the moment let alone new players
chelsea need a winger and some pace.
theo under decent training and a manager who actually trains him properly would set the world alight. problem is he's stuck with a manager and a club who accepts mediocrity, so there's no real pressure to perform or improve.
If we spank Udinese by 3 or more goals tonight i think we will buy this week, but we wont..so we wont
eboue's gone to galatasaray.

bendtner may stay, rosicky injured.
oh what fun it is to be an arsenal fan at the moment!!!
Bendtner
Would be a 20+ goal a season man under a different manager.
Eboue.
It's been...fun.
Bendtner is Championship level, and that is assuming he mans up and takes what is dished out in that League.
