Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, 20, who has been called up to the England squad
Know it has nout ti do with us, but as were linked with this guy thought id put it up.
We're not getting dzeko.
Citeh wouldn't sell to us unless it was for silly money which we won't offer.
Time to move on, there's some 18 yr old nobody from brentford who's the next big thing we should take a punt on instead
Can see this happeningQuote:
Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool are among the clubs considering bidding for highly-rated Derby midfielder Will Hughes, 17.Full story: Daily Telegraph
To be fair everyone seems to be on Zaha. If we do get him we won't be getting him on the cheap. I think it safe to say we'll need to stretch to 15million to get him like we did with OX.
Morevoer this boy is more experienced than either OX or Theo were before we bought them so whilst we're going for another Project, he's one with supreme potential and a little bit of experience already.
The more I've seen him and read about him the more I'm warming to the idea of him coming here.
So potentially we could sell him on faster because he's more experienced? I like this idea. Get him in. Also, if you can find a young African kid at some feeder club who is called Dzeko, that would be great. Or just get any stiff and change his name maybe? Call AFCCamden and tell him to push it hard.
He does sound like a well rounded individual, with his feet on the ground.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's agent has denied an agreement has been reached with a Premier League club over the transfer of the Schalke striker.
The Netherlands international's current contract with the German outfit runs out in June 2013 and he has yet to sign a new deal, prompting speculation about his future.
The 29-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Italian side Juventus, while rumours have recently emerged suggesting Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham were vying for his signature.
The player's representative Arnoldus Oosterveer has denied a deal has been struck with a Premier League side, insisting the player is keeping his options open.
However, he did reveal the former PSV, Real Madrid and Milan forward will make a decision on his future during the January transfer window.
"There is no agreement with any English club and Klaas has not yet decided anything about his future," Oosterveer told calciomercato.it
"He has not decided if he wants to play in Italy, Spain, England or stay in Germany. He is planning his future in the winter."
Regarding a possible contract extension with Schalke, he added: "Currently no hypothesis is rejected because in football you never know.
"So you [will] have to wait to know Huntelaar's future."
Why not, we could use a decent backup striker.
:haha:
It's sad Arsenal would be considered a step down from Everton. No disrespect to the Toffees.
Someone responded to my Fellainni comment saying he would not want to take a step down.

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina, 30, is reportedly wanted by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger as the Frenchman looks to tighten his defence in the January transfer window.
Reina.
I remember when he used to be good.
It was such an awlfully long time ago.
I'm probably in a massive minority of Liverpool fans (and probably influenced by the stuff on here... like a disease) that I wouldn't be too bothered if he left. Certainly not in any way that I would have been 2/3 years ago. Though that is ignoring any kind of replacement. If he did want to go, I wouldn't hold it against him either.
Saying that I don't think his bad form is terminal, especially as he could feasibly have 6/7 years left in his career. I still think he could get back to his best, and that best is very, very good.
Harsh to call me and Maccy a disease tbh.
He's actually, genuinely shit though. And I don't throw that around lightly. He's got worse in every aspect over the last few seasons and quite alarmingly so. I don't think he was ever even close to being as good as a Buffon, Casillas, Pre-Helmet Cech or VDS (before his last couple of seasons, though he was still more solid than most). When he can't even rely on Hart/Given-esque Hollywood saves, what does he have left?
Get rid of moulding, residual shit like Gerrard, Reina, Carragher and Liverpool would instantly have a better squad.
Joe Cole is shit too.
Oh, and Horrendouson. Although he has a better chance of a recovery than Reina.
Even if he wasn't at the level of Casillas or Buffon (which he wasn't, but they're two of the best keepers ever anyway so not exactly a fair yardstick) he was still a lot better than most. A lot better. And then seemingly when Valero, who had a big influence on Torres as well, left his form dropped off a cliff. The main thing he has left is his distribution which is still ridiculous but not exactly integral to a keeper, he can still pull off a good save or two but when he's in a one on one he's invisible. As I say I don't think it's terminal, but whoever said he needs some proper competition I totally agree. And Valero back. But the main reason I wouldn't be cutting myself if he did go (and I would have a few years ago before he collapsed... inside of the elbow. Make it count.) is because Jones has come in and we haven't imploded. And no one would say Jones is brilliant. And the obligatory rumours we're signing Butland in January.
Carragher is no more than a squad player anyway, and actually did well against Chelsea which was odd. Gerrard is undroppable... for now. Joe Cole is indeed shit. Henderdjemba I think has been quite hard done by; he doesn't do much wrong, he just doesn't do much at all. Whenever I bring him on as a sub on Fifa he's literally invisible, that's an apt analogy. But he's actually mildly decent when he takes off the cloak.
