i've read and listened to a lot of people who have followed the club very closely over the years, and in some cases some of them talk to people at the club, and the general version of events is that the Ozil deal was at least 50% Gazidis, I'm not exonerating Wenger and i wanted him to leave, but it's not all down to him

According to Letters. Nobody knows what's going on at the club so all opinions are just speculation. Wenger however is on record as saying he is in charge and will stand for no one dictating football matters to him. It may even be in his crap book.

This is why I have a little bit of sympathy with the club because the people in charge now didn’t have anything to do with his contract. They know he’s not worth it and just want him gone. It’s business but then there is the side of it I don’t like and that’s turning their back on him like he’s some nothing player who’s never done anything in his career.

It’s just one big mess and the sooner he is gone we can just move on and hopefully learn from it.
