Final on now. Selby is back as world number 1 regardless of the result today but he'll want to win as he doesn't want to be regarded as the snooker version of a Female Tennis number 1 as he hasn't won either of the 2 big tournaments yet

2-2 at the interval. Decent match
First session ended 4-4. Murphy takes a 5-4 lead after a brilliant clearance from 67-0 down considering there were reds, yellow and the pink all safe so to clear up from there was one of the best I've seen
6-6 at the interval  Looks like its going all the way. Talk about Ronnie and the emergence of Snooker in the Far East and how the Rocket isn't needed as much as he used to be to popularize the sport
Boy he looks happy!
Selby wins it 10-6. Not sure what the next event is or when it is but all eyes go towards the crucible in April. If Ronnie wants to be in that, he has to declare it by mid February.
The Masters in January is next.
January 13th live on the BBC. I'll miss most if not all of it due to work ffs.
Missed all of this :(
Ah well. Always the trip to the lakeside to look forward to over Christmas
