WENGER IS LEAVING!!!

It’s fantastic timing, a week before our season defining game.

Imagine we got to the final and the talk was still about his future? Fuck that. Now it’s about everyone hopefully pulling together because we’ve got what we wanted. The atmosphere should be electric on Thursday. For Emirates standards of course.

I just hope the players can deal with the expectation now.

From where we are now, A dozen points off the Spuds and struggling to stay ahead of Burnley. The only way is up. I cannot think of a sane manager who cannot improve on the wreckage we are now seeing. The EL means little to me. It will not cover what a shit show we have become. Besides we have not steamrollered our way to this semi-final. Being blanked at home by Pubbers and part-time carpenters is not easy to forget.

I've gone from apathy to the most eager anticipation and I'm sure the same will be true of so many fans.

The timing is perfect without there having to be any more reason behind it than that. Not saying there isn't anything else going on behind the scenes, there most probably is. But what we have now is good enough.

And I think there will be a subtle change in the way the new manager is brought in too. We are not chasing a manager in the summer months now, we can stand back and watch them all chase us instead, in the full glare of the media. And I'm sure that's going to happen.
