now this is a statement. this team has something special about them in my opinion, yes there are better players, but right now they are fighting, playing well and really could do something special. siging podolski is great, its telling RVP, we are going to change, and we will kick on.. a genuine name being singed not a nobody. fucking happy right now. really feeling like im a supporting my team not supporting players who play for my club. keep this team together, get some signings in and something special will happen

The Guardian are saying that reports in Germany claim Arsenal have nearly finalised a £10.9m move...acting early to get him on the cheap because he's into his last of his contract - that part sounds like us. They also say he has been offered a 4 year contract worth £100k a week - that part doesn't sound like us.
I don't really know how good he is. He's someone we actually know of, so that's a start. Seen him play for Germany. Has a powerful shot. But it's strange he's playing for relegation battlers and not Bayern Munich or Dortmund or some top German club.
Meh, hope it happens and that we find out we have him before the Euros start. It was quite nice watching Rosicky score those crackers in the 2006 WC and not anticipating he'd hardly ever do that again in his career.
