How do we know he'd even be any good on the wing? Risky transfer if you ask me. Unproven.

his left toe is bigger than his right toe so i don't think he has the right balance to play on the wing.
think so. his doctor said toes are overrated anyway.

Paul Lambert has dismissed suggestions that Christian Benteke wants to join Arsenal, saying the striker is happy at Aston Villa.
The Belgium international has made a massive impact since his £7m switch from Genk but was reported by the press in his home country as saying that he thought Villa "were a London club" before he signed and that he "loves Arsenal".
But Lambert believes the 21-year-old's comments were taken out of context and says Benteke has not expressed a desire to leave Villa Park.
Lambert said: "I think it's been a bit naughty and misconstrued of what he said and been reported in Belgium.
"I know what it is like when that happens so I'll take it lightly. He is a big guy and doesn't say two words.
"In any case, if you ask any young footballer they will have a team and players they have followed.
"Listen, I'll reassure the fans that the big guy is more than happy. He is playing really well. If he wasn't happy, he wouldn't be playing the way he is.
"Christian has been excellent. He's been a real handful against most of the teams he's faced.
"He's not just doing it for us, he's been doing it for Belgium. People forget he's only 21 and isn't the finished article by any stretch of the imagination.
"But he is going to be one hell of a player, that's for sure, and I think he's worth every penny at the minute."
:haha:
Benteke is a Must Get.
The new Adebayor.
But a lot better.
And Belgian.
The sun reckon were willing to offer Walcott and £8m for raheem sterling.
:haha:
Good deal, that.
For Liverpool.
Apart from the usual noise about Theo. . .more stories about Holtby, from what Ive seen he seems like a good player but not one that is going to walk into thhe team as we seem to,be full in that area. . .however if we were to get rid of Andy then. . . ?
Sign in Jan or leave till the summer=free?
Holtby in, Ramsey out tbf.
Good shout. . .have said that if Theo wants out then he can go but at the same time I hope he proves me wrong as he can be magic

Roma have approached Arsenal over a £5m move for Tomas Rosicky in January.
The Czech Republic midfielder's time in north London has been severely disrupted by injury and he has not played this season following further problems.
An Achilles' tendon injury sustained last summer has held Rosicky back and Arsene Wenger could look to cash-in on him in January.
Roma are interested in the 32-year-old and have already sounded out Arsenal over a possible move. His current contract expires in June 2014 and the Serie A club believe they can land him on the cheap.
From TS so its probs rubbish, but if they do offer 5 mill then we should take it tbh.
Wenger saying today that he might try and get Henry on loan again in January as well loose gervinho and Chamakh to the acon.
So that'll be our big window signing.
Yay.
Only Gervais and Chammy to leave for ACON this time. And only one of them is considered 1st team player (by some people)
When is the last time this has happened?
£13.50 a pop, monthly fee, direct debit only. virgin active won't know what hit em.

Schalke's Netherlands international striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has been linked with a move to Arsenal.Speaking before the German side beat Olympiakos 1-0 to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League, Sky pundit Erik Meijer said he believed Huntelaar would soon be on his way.
"According to the information I have, Huntelaar will be gone in the winter. Arsenal FC are the favourites to land him," former striker Meijer said. During his playing days, Meijer's agent was Arnold Oosterveer, who now represents Huntelaar.
But Huntelaar, 29, played down Meijer's claims after the match, telling reporters: "He obviously knows more than I know. I don't know anything about it." He has also been quiet on previous transfer rumours.
And Schalke general manager Horst Heldt said his club would not be selling their star man - who is out of contract in the summer - adding: "It's nice that other clubs have those thoughts.
"They should come to us and get their offer rejected. If needed, we'd write that down so they know we are not interested in selling Huntelaar."
Schalke followed Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund into the knockout stages on Wednesday thanks to a 77th-minute goal from Austria international left-back Christian Fuchs.
"The relief is enormous," Schalke skipper Benedikt Howedes said. "We did it the hard way. We had several chances to score and weren't able to take them, but we managed to get the decisive goal - we can be proud."
Huntelaar, Jermaine Jones and Lewis Holtby all missed good chances in the opening 10 minutes before Fuchs showed them how it was done with a long-range strike.
"I'm really happy that I could help the team," Fuchs said. "We're all relieved that we won and qualified for the last 16.
"Now our aim must be to finish top of the group. We have a good side and we can still achieve a lot in this Champions League campaign."
not sure he'd take a downgrade to us.

No business in January, confirmed today by Ivan /thread
"We look always. If we find top top top quality of exceptional talent, then we will do it, yes. Nothing is happening (transfers). You will see it is little bit illusionary transfer market. Nobody buys. We will wait, and if the opportunity comes, we will take that. Henry? I have not yet made up my mind yet. But (he - Henry) is still quality."
illusionary transfer market,Waiting periods, dead or alive periods
"We are ambitious with tickets, can we improve them? We look always. If we find top top top or even little bit exceptional reason we will do it, yes why not perhaps? You see the price of fish and chips, we must keep pace we cannot fall behind."
