1-0 Kane. World Cup on its way.
Kane
Well that wasn't as funny as I hoped.
Kane had his little toe boot on, according to Hoddle.
Southgate celebrating like this was some piece of master management from him.
Oh shut up Hoddle.
England qualify for the World Cup, for what it's worth.
Abysmal all things considered.
Suspect nothing's going to change and it'll be another group stage elimination during the WC.
Hart doesn't care about the critics allegedly
Praising Hart's double save. It was offside you twats!
Wenger

Ox's reaction to getting subbed off early.:lol:

Ospina singularly responsible for Paraguay’s win
Meanwhile, Alexis gets the assist and the goal that keeps Chile alive.
I have mostly got past the whole Arsenal thing now, but losing Alexis is like the final door closing on it all. And if he goes to the gypos or worse, Utd, there's no coming back from that - football will be over. RvC and then it can happen again with Alexis? Will prove there is literally no positive reason to support this club.
Fucking hell. I fucking hate Wenger you know? Did I mention it?
But I'm over it.
Diddums. Poor babies.Quote:
Brazil stars were left fighting for breath and having to use oxygen masks for recovery after a gruelling 0-0 draw with Bolivia on a pitch almost 12,000ft above sea-level. The World Cup qualifier was played at the once-banned Estadio Hernando Siles in La Paz, which stands at an altitude of 11,932ft in searing-hot conditions that captain Neymar later described as 'inhumane'. After the match, the Brazil star said: 'Inhumane to play in such conditions, field, altitude, ball... everything bad.'
South American players have always had to hack high altitude. But these modern day cissies who earn exponentially more than the proper players did will naturally complain. One day there are slaves, the next they are fighting for their lives, and none of them can seem to play more than once a week. It's a hard old life.
In fairness I’ve played football at altitude before and it does get quite difficult. Certainly not inhumane though, fucking fannies.
They get a million quid on internationals?
TBF I don't have a problem with them complaining about this but it's not going to change, what do they want, Bolivia to change the country they're from?
I watched some loons run up and down a mountain in China on a Sky Programme and they talked about just how difficult it is; still got on with it though.
Also, Argentina are on the verge of not automatically qualifying. They have Ecuador which is a dead rubber for them; again it is at altitude though.
The team that finishes 5th will play New Zealand in the play-offs.
Argentina have only won 6 out of 17 games and scored just 16 goals.
That’s pretty embarrassing considering their attacking options.
Messi has never played the same for Argentina as he does for Barcelona
There isn’t the same creativity in Argentine midfield, Pastore and Di Marķa are wingers
And most of their central midfielders are holding players (Banega etc)
They have won only one game in CONMEBOL qualifying this year. Though if they do miss out they will be pissed off at Bolivia for fielding an ineligible player in their match against Peru. Despite winning 2-0 in La Paz, the game was awarded to Peru 3-0.
A lot of the South American sides are struggling for form. Both Chile and Colombia have dropped a lot of points, it’s only really Brazil that have shown any consistency and that’s why they are way out in front and were the first team to qualify for the World Cup.
It'd pretty ironic if the one summer that Alexis gets a break will be the summer after he's just left us.

Big Andy?! :haha:
Lump it up to the Big Man (not that one); it always works so well.
Jack?
He hasn't played 90 competitive minutes for half a decade. Is there nobody better in the whole kingdom than a guy trying to rescue his career from injury?
And Sterling :haha:
Fellaini is injured.
Mourinho. :rose:
Sweden 8-0 Luxembourg.
I'd 8 to be those poor bastards when they fly home and disembark to the vicious howls of all the fans who have swamped the airport.
Bulgaria: Iliev, Popov, Zanev, Bodurov, Slavchev, Kostadinov, Nedelev, Delev, Manolev, Bozhikov, Galabinov.
France: Lloris, Varane, Umtiti, Tolisso, Griezmann, Mbappe, Kante, Matuidi, Digne, Sidibe, Lacazette.
Poor old Bif.
I doubt Griezmann is at left back though I guess with Deschamps you can never be too sure.
Iwobi :bow:Quote:
Nigeria have qualified for the World Cup after a 1-0 win over Zambia.
Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi scored the winning goal.
They’re the first African team to book their place at Russia 2018.

Switzerland 2-0 Hungary, Frei with the second, Xhaka with the first.
Ryan Babel playing for The Netherlands tonight.
Christ, I knew they aren't as good as they once were but I didn't realise they were that desperate.
Kante is injured.
Lloris. :haha:
Clown.
Mbappe. :haha:
Deschamps trying to better Southgate when it comes to producing boring football.
At least Southgate has an excuse that England are shit .... there's no excuse for Deschamps considering the riches he has at his disposal.
