I'm glad this is the final tbf, because if it had been Djokovic v Federer or Nadal v Federer, I would have been in the strange situation of watching the World Cup final on ITV+5.

Djokovic beats Anderson 6-2 6-2 7-6 (7-3) to win Wimbledon!!!!
His 13th Slam overall, moving him ahead of Emerson, only one behind Sampras.
His fourth Wimbledon title which Open era wise leaves him only behind Borg, Sampras and Federer.

Welcome back Botovic.

Big Bird. :haha:
Great tournament for him but ultimately a waste of everybody's time.
Well done Djokovic

Hope the draw isn't so lopsided at the US Open so we see a great final again.
Little bit late reply, but yes that's correct.
But the problem is that because players like Djokovic, Murray, Wawrinka, Nishikori and Raonic are still on varying degrees of their comeback trails because of injury, their rankings are much lower than what they'd usually be. It makes it all out of whack and this year, Federer going out highlighted how that side of the draw was the pub section much like England's in the World Cup.
It also doesn't help when a handful of top seeds who are/were tipped as potential future greats go out early in nearly every Slam.
