I have feelings you know!
He's ok, bit of a work horse, like Negredo but not as prolific though he did score 20 last season. Scored a good goal in the Copa Del Rey final, though due to Falcao's work. :ninja: It's a bit odd how he tended to be more of the focus for Atleti towards the end of the season, rather than Old Man Falcao
so these stories being leaked out of the club, that gazidis wants to spend big but wenger wont let him.
how convenien, especially days before the emirates has fans in. just blame wenger instead of standing up to him. leak stories so blame gets deflected off him and onto wenger.
Let's face it Wenger is as much to blame as anyone else, the guy just won't spend money, too risky for him. Today in a question and answers session he vetted all the questions to make sure noone asked him about signings, he's a control freak.
i didnt say he wasnt to blame, he is to blame but so is gazidis. these stories coming out that he wants to spend but wenger wont let him is just pathetic. he knows fans are angry so he is leaking stories while hiding behind wenger saying its his fault, not mine, dont say nasty things baout me at the weekend.
and that google hangout thing, i seriously doubt wenger would have vetted the questions himself, someone else would have been in charge, and if you thought for one second that he would answer questions about the state of the suarez deal etc then you naive. its a corperate event, he wasnt going to suddenly come out and tell some strange on google taht he was close to suarez etc.
there's a wenger out protest being planned on twitter
Wenger doesn't read twitter so he won't be affected.
stuff being said on twitter now that with gazidis briefing the press that its wenger refusing to spend, he fails to mention how he took his wife with him on the Asia tour.
oh dear, working hard are we gazidis? or just taking a holiday and blaming wenger
Costa
Awful Starbucks
What a mess.
Liverpool :pal:
None of that shit is happening. There's no internal war going on. They are all tuned the same. Perhaps some of the old boys are panicking about what their fellow buffers will say at the cigar club, but that's not grounds for a revolt. Especially as they could just as easily go golfing in this great weather.
Are these dudes thick of what.
It should be "sack gazidis" first.
Wenger has won two doubles, another league title and another FA Cup.
What the absolute fuck has that bald **** ever done for us.
Wenger needs a kick up the arse, and some direction from the board, yes, but that Mandleson....sorry...Ivan, needs stringing up.
:gp:
I have had problems in the past with a 'Wenger Out' protest and still feel uncomfortable with it now, but I understand it. He may have won all that stuff years ago, and I'll always be grateful for it, but he is at the very least complicit in the situation we are in now. I want and have wanted him out for some time and can't bear the same shit continuing.
Wenger is the goose that laid the golden egg for the twats in power within this Club. If he starts getting heat maybe it will change things, though I doubt it.
i guess the argument is that if wenger really wanted certain players, they would have been signed. who do you think gave the all clear to stop higuain altogether and go for suarez? it would have been wenger. and it was a ridiculous decision. so no kicking up the arse will do because wenger wont listen.
the point seems to be that wenger's dithering and it's holding us back.
We thought we were getting a great deal at £23mill and we were. If you look at the ridiculous prices for other players Higuain was a steal at £23mill. Then another club came in - a nasty side effect of the free market. The price went up - supply and demand, and suddenly Higuain was going for the market price. That put us out of the running because we just won't pay the market price. This all stems from the fact those ignorant bitches at all the other clubs refuse to listen when Arsene sets the price of a player.
on the football pitch, there are very valid arguments for wenger going or staying and i respect both sides unless people start to abuse him, which i find unaccpetable and there are acceptable reasons for marching in a wenger out protest during the season when results are shit, out of cups etc etc
but this wenger out march, or supposed one, is to do with lack of signings atm i think, thats where the anger is and this is why i think gazidis needs to be targeted. he came out with the billy big bollocks line of we've got lots of money and suddenly deals arent being done, and stories come out that gazidis wants to spend big but wenger wont let him. he fucked up by saying we have loads of money and is now shafting wenger and turned fans this window against him even more. this is why a wenger out march this weekend is pointless because its targetting the wrong person IMO for the failings of the transfer window so far.
My point is that there is more "Arsenal" in wenger than these yanks, their spin doctors and their sleezey lawyers.
What is absurd, is that the fans are trying to get rid of the one person left who has Arsenal in his blood.
And leaving our fate as a club with an American who knows absolutely nothing about us, other than we make him a lot of money.
That Wenger Out march is going to be three piss heads stomping up and down. Nobody is going to give a shit about that at the Emirates cup. People will be too busy buying ice cream and making sure the kids have their sun screen.
