Reports in French media had previously reported that Grenier fancies himself as 200 K /per week kind of player , if that is true i don't see him fitting in with wage policy of Arsenal who supposedly don't pay more than 100 or 120 K wages per week
Have we not learnt since Fabregas?
Monaco are on the brink of signing Falcao for 51m.
Football.
How fucked up.
FFP
We signed Park from them and they end up getting Falcao within a couple of seasons.
:(
In all seriousness how does it fit in within FFP?
I figured it probably wouldn't be worth the paper it is written on so I can't really remember he rules. Also, someone just asked me and I want to sound intelligent. :ninja:
FFP may stop things like Monaco signing Falcao, but the problem with the current football system is that this is the only way a team like Monaco can get to or near the top. We're already seeing with Dortmund how they're being raided for their best players by established teams like Bayern. FFP will actually simply aid teams like Bayern and Utd, and give them even more power and monopoly position.
Relax guys, at least hes not going to Chelsea.
Whats wrong with the talent bring spread out a bit? New money > Old new money
Agreed, if all the FFP will do is restrict smaller clubs from competing against the established order, and give teams who are in the established order (the likes of Utd and Munich) more freedom to simple hoover up all the talent available in the smaller clubs, how is that going to stop the inequality in football? If you are a smaller club who do really well in one season with a group of exciting young talent developed from your youth system, and then at the end of the season the big boys buy them all up, I can understand why you'd be against something like FFP.
