Pissed again!
I only have a bottle of Martini left, wife must have bought it for some strange reason. I've been eyeing it up over the last couple of hours wondering if it tastes as bad as it looks. Trying to decide whether to get some sleep and hit the supermarket early for supplies or whether to down the Martini, get some sleep and hit the supermarket early for supplies.
There is always a bottle of something in one's drinks cabinet that defies explanation of how it got there, the bottle of Cinzano Bianco that looks retro until you discover that it is actually from the 1980s or the Bristol Cream or Napoleon Brandy that may have originally been bought as cooking constituents.
Wenger's latest interview is bound to raise a few eyebrows. When asked about the fans' desire for new players to be added to the squad, the Arsenal Manager responded with this:
SauceQuote:
The fans need to realise that we have already signed Yaya Sanogo who we believe will add quality to our squad. We still have Monreal, Diaby, Vermaelen and Frimpong returning from injury. In a way these are all like new signings. Players like Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have matured a little bit and are also like new signings.

This is far too messy.
It's not messy, we've just paved the way for him to go to another club, simples.
Yep, another club. Not ours. I'm just wondering whether the club will try to hash out a deal all through summer or move on to another target. If we spend nothing this summer, we have picked the perfect mule.
I still have hope that, behind all this, deals are being done in the shadows but...
Such a song and dance routine. We're the only club in the world that could fuck it this badly. Guess we are just incredibly unlucky.
Wenget has confirmed Gervinho is nearly off (presumably Roma). Bendtner is nowhere and Chakma might be off in the next 48 hours too (on a permanent deal). :faint:
If the whole saga wasn't already silly enough it just entered the realms of the ridiculous!

Good luck to himQuote:
Out of favour Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh, 29, has agreed to join Premier League new boys Crystal Palace on a six-month loan deal.

right. this is an Arsenal forum, we all clearly want our time to win regardless of what else happens. you coming on, calling wenger "wanker" in every post, hoping we lose to villa, and i believe you said you hoped we lose to spurs too the other day is just pointless. no Arsenal fan wants taht to happen so you coming on here and losing your shit over a post that had a joke link in is quite amusing and largely pathetic
:haha:
abusive posts disappearing
and people laugh at the mods? :pal:
best at what they do tbh
I said I hoped Spurs finished above us in 4th place, seocondly i can post my feelings which is anger, fustration for the club I have suppported since the early 70's, so I have every right to say what I feel. I hate the manager the board and some of the players for the way the club has been run. I am passionate about my support and couldnt give a fcuk if we played in the conference, I will still support them. But I wont stand for the fans being ripped off every season with no return apart from 4th spot and 2nd and 3rd rate players. I am in a fcking bad mood so leave me the fcuk alone.
:goodpost:
Whilst I didn't agree with your post about wanting us to lose, you insulted Wenger and not any of the posters.
Did nothing wrong in my book.
Clearly provoked by others. You gave as good as you got and you came out the better man.
A sign of the frustration us Arsenal fans feel.
