As long as it isn't done humanely, I'm on board with that.
Awful referee.

He did not want to give us that pen, until the 5th official pointed it out, he denied Milan a corner for some reason. Just think he was clueless more then corrupt. lol.
Then again We know Uefa have put Barca's name on the CL already but thats another story for another time lol.
He should be shot in front of his family.

Very proud to be gooner in a day like today! That shows you what passion can do in the world of football... Arsenal fans were immense!
Pining, Cesc?
He does seem a bit desperate sometimes.
Oh please still love me, Arsenal fans, I didn't want to leave but I have Barca DNA.
I don't bear him any malice and he did well for us but he's not going to go down as an Arsenal legend as he seems to want to.
Good post but the thing is in these modern times how long can you expect to realistically hold on to such premium young talent when everyone else is coveting the same thing and they've got that salient advantage of being able to provide them with meaningful silverware.
People can say what they like but we could have easily put out a team today of theWhore,RVP, Cesc, Wilshere, Nasri, Song, Cashley, Szczesny and Oxo as an impact sub if we'd done the right things at the right time.
We all scream about Barca but that team has been built on the simple Xavi-Iniesta axis for about a decade or so (both players have been at bar**** far longer than any of the players i just mentioned). Barca have never lost any meaningful young talent (that made an impact in the first team) in over a decade despite having a revolving door of managers and presidents. So when Messi says he's going to be there forever, I f*ckin believe him- can any of us say the same about any of the 3 you highlighted? Already my money is on Szczesny out first.
I believe a lot of our youngsters have a real connection to Arsenal. I believe they will want to stay at the club for a long time. Maybe it's unrealistic to expect them to stay if we keep slipping down the table, but I think there is something unique about this current crop over the previous years. We have the quality as well as the right mentality. If you think about Oxlade's performance tonight or Wilshere's performance against Barcelona last year - they were the stand out performers in those key games. We haven't seen that from the likes of Vela. Smashing carling cup pub teams is all well and good. I think having an English core helps to buy us a couple of extra years over the Fabregas/Nasri's. I'm not worried about them leaving because I think we'll be hitting some success and they'll be encouraged by that.
