Jack needs to be held accountable for his performances. They have not been good enough at all. I could stomach his off pitch actions if his attitude on the pitch was better than it is. He needs to man up or be shown the door

This is true. But more pertinently, Adams is spurting out senile bollocks as usual. Ozil has nothing to do with Wilshere. They're completely different players.
There's nothing wrong with pointing out Jack's inconsistent form. The giddy vehemence to do so at every opportunity no matter the relevance by every two-bit numbskull resembles every other lazy narrative that we despair at. See: Ozil stealing a living, Mertesacker having no pace, Wenger not seeing it ha ha ha, Arsenal don't like it up em.
They'd built up Wilshere into a glorious composite of players that England have never actually had, then as soon as his form dipped (never mind his two years of recurring injuries at an extremely early phase of his career) he became literally worse than Michael Brown and Karl Henry put together.
Heard Diaby had a hip surgery
The Diaby thing is one of the biggest mysteries in football, second only to the Rooney thing. This player never plays. Why is he here? Why haven't I been hired to hang around the place doing nothing? It's bloody unfair.
Speak for yourselves.
Sczesney said: "Except for Thomas [Vermaelen on Saturday], we've not lost any key players."
Sagna :pal: :haha:
We've signed up another new sponsor today. Europcar, the car renting guys.

Good shit and it means more money. Funny how easy it seems to be to attract sponsors when the team do well on the pitch and you spend money investing in it. Lesson for the future Gazidis.

As anyone who has attended in last couple of seasons suspected...
Quote:
One of the main stories this morning centres around ACTUAL attendance figures. I think it was pretty clear last season that Arsenal weren’t always filling their pretty stadium.
TICKETS WERE SOLD
For sure, they were. But the gaps around the ground are pretty apparent.
Here are the stats from A is for Arsenal.
* on average the actual attendance was 5,998 lower than that stated by the Club
* on average 6,550 seats were empty per game
* the worst attended match was Fenerbahce at 44,779, which was 15,559 lower than capacity and 11,492 below the official attendance
* the best attended game was Liverpool in the league at 57,341
* the real average attendance was 53,788 compared to 59,786 announced by the Club
* a total of 173,945 seats went unoccupied at home games last season
Such a waste.
When you break it down to an average number of games lost per season ticket holder, it's not actually that bad - less than 3 games missed per person per season, which probably isn't unreasonable given the likelihood of other commitments / illness / travel problems / etc throughout the footballing year? However, it's still a hell of a lot of tickets that could potentially be going on general sale to other fans who aren't lucky enough to have a season ticket. Surely there's an easy fix here somewhere?
Not just us...

Top tier banter.
No Anthony Taylor to hand the opposition pelanties, man advantages and goals this year.
Also, Reina . Almost as big an Arsenal legend as Stevie 'Slippy' Me.
This from the Telegraph today:

Bacary Sagna's laserlike delivery from the right is going to be hugely missed when Arsenal attack.
:haha:
Do not forget we also have to replace Djourou.
And we have no keeper.

I know Jack didn't have the best of games on Saturday but there's no need for that Olly.

Ozil takes part in the Ice Bucket Challenge.:unsure:

What a fucking failure.
If nobody else is going to ask then I will. Why is everyone suddenly tipping buckets of cold water over themselves?
Dunno, but I heard that NHL commisioner Gary Bettman has as well.
It was started in social media then spread to the deaf community back in July, then hijacked...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-28317007Quote:
The "cold water challenge", "water-tipping" - call it what you will, there's a new craze in the deaf community. The trend for dropping a bucket of water over your own head was started by non-deaf people but it has recently been appropriated by a close-knit network of deaf people in the UK.
BBC Trending reports on how tipping water on yourself - and posting a picture or video of it - has spread like wildfire between deaf friends on social networks.
Think this current trend is a new variation of that one called the "Ice Bucket Challenge" where you nominate "friends" to either drop a bucket of Ice water on their heads or donate an amount to charity. In the event of the person nominated fulfilling the challenge, the person who nominated him or her has to donate to charity instead.
Reading his twitter/instragram, Ozil was nominated by both Jerome Boateng & Steve Aoki and he himself has gone on to nominate Mandy Capristo (his girlfriend), Rihanna and Derrick Rose (US Basketball player).

Normally I would make some cynical comment about B lists celebs on twitter using it for free publicity and to feed their egos but at the end of the day if it's raising money for good causes then it's difficult to disparage it. Read that the original charity that started this trend (ALS association) has seen their donations multiply tenfold over the past month.

Sad news today. Manuel Almunia has been forced to retire after a heart problem was found during his medical with Cagliari.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...t-problem.html
Always sad to see a footballer forced to retire early because of an injury/illness. He's 37 years old but would have had at least a couple of years left as goalkeeper.
Wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
:haha:
We've got Saints at home in the league cup 3rd round btw.
