Sounds like Darren Dein/Cesc people are feeding stuff to the media in preparation of a move to United.

He knows the only way he can go there (cos hes the slimey type and wont be a man about it like RVP, Adebayor) is if its seems we didnt want him anyway, not that he rejected us. This lays the ground work.

He'd be acceptable behind RVP (not better than a proper second striker like Rooney mind) but I suspect theyd be buying him to play next to Carrick. Carrick can barely cope with his own work nevermind being a lung-busting DM for two. We'd get an extra 20 million and theyd be getting fucked in the hole. Dream scenario :cloud9:
