Bell should give his wicket up really. Intentionally this time. Unless the umpires know they did say 'over' when they shouldn't but then why give it out in the first place?

Change of rules needed as well tbh. Always felt that it should only be a 4 only if the ball reaches the rope. Whether or not the fielder is touching the rope and the ball isn't then it shouldn't be a boundary
Morgan smacks a six to bring up his 50. He needed those runs.
the singh lbw thing couldnt have been any funnier yesterday. wonder what india feel about drs now?
Bell reaches 150 in his third innings.
323-4, Bell is out for 159. He'll be back out in about fifteen minutes.
also cripps if you having a go at umpires for the singh decision which was wrong how do you feel about the lbws in the second innings at lords. tendulkar was plumb and not given and somoeone else was?
India take the new ball.
And it works. 329-5, Morgan goes for 70.
Trott is out there. :yikes:
trott should have been lbw there :haha:
indians for stupid views on drs :pal:
Cover drives.
339-6, Trott contributes a stellar 2. :d
Sreesanth. Sledge after you've been smacked for four.
England lead by 300. :scarf:
Buffet bowling from Sharma. Prior gets his fifty.
100 partnership between Bresnan and Prior.
England close on 441-6, leading by 374. :scarf:
india look tired and uninterested to me. too many injuries showing that they are unfit. this team looks nothing like the worlds best team
Sanjay Manjrekar and Michael Holding are spot on with their comments. What would England have done had India gone to the England dressing room after Harbhajans wicket when it was made clear there was a massive edge?No difference.Anyway Dravids interview was awesome as usual. India :bow:Showing why they are the worlds best on and off the pitch. Why the fuck did Stauss and Flower go to the Indian dressing room btw? Nothing to do with them. This is a Test England have had a shocker in. Cheats come to mind.
the singh one is different imo, if you didnt have such a stupid view on drs and allowed it in the series, the singh one would have been reversed without anyproblems, thats a rod you made for you own back. it also balances out as two plumb lbws were turned down that if we had drs would have been given out.
the bell one, i think should have stayed the same, given out. doziness by bell after seeing the replay
Pathetic stuff from south Africa. If tendulkar was given out like that, no chance in hell would dhoni ask Strauss to reconsider the appeal because it's the batsmans fault. Anyone with a decent education would understand that. Unfortunately half the south African fans are fuckwits.
You might be right but Dravid did say the rest of the Indian team felt uneasy about what had happened even before Dhoni and Fletcher spoke with Strauss and Flower. Dravid also said they wouldn't have been happy if it had happened to one of their players. Diplomatic? Probably but you have to take it at face value.
Of course because it's a cheap way of taking a wicket. But ultimately it's the batsmans fault and so Strauss and the fans should not even be putting pressure on India -- they did nothing wrong; they're going by the letter of the law. Laxman was given out stumped in a very similar manner a month ago in west indies. India didn't complain, accepted the decision and moved on. South Africa can go fuck themselves.
Where does it end? Why would it be any different if dhoni asked Strauss to reconsider the harbhajan appeal yesterday? After all, that was a less legitimate wicket than this one.
Isn't it because there is confusion from more than just England? I think I heard someone say Raina had already grabbed the helmets (so to speak) because he thought it was the end of it and Kumar was labouring about too initially along with most of the Indian team.
Harbhajan's was never offered by the umpires for England to overturn (if it could).
aside from the bell run out farce syn, arent you worried that your team who are the best test team in the world, conceded over 400 runs in one day and players seem to be pulling up with injuries?
England are up to 500, Bresnan on 84.
540-8, Broad run out on 44.
India.
540-9, Bresnan out too. Anderson to come in and swing the bat?
All out for 544.
Cracking stuff.
Now Broady to skittle 'em.
England are 544 all out. Anderson couldn't swing the bat after all.
India require 478.
I think this'll end quite quick. Demoralised I should say.
