Serena will serve for the double bagel.
:rose:
Serena wins 6-0 6-0.
:haha:
Bagels in tennis .
Actual bagels that fat people eat :haha:.
Kerber v Errani currently 5-4.
Tiebreak time for Kerber and Errani.
3-3 at the changeover.
Three set points for Errani!
Two set points remaining. Really weak second serve from Errani.
One set point remaining, Kerber to serve.
Kerber double faults. Errani takes the first set 7-6 (7-5)!
Errani breaks and leads 2-0 in the second set!
Kerber breaks back, 2-3 she trails and to serve.
Errani breaks and will serve for the match!
Errani wins 7-6 (7-5) 6-3! :o
Are the courts slower than wumbledon? Is that an obvious question? Don't know, can't really get into it. Yet.
Arthur Ashe will be slower, some of the other courts aren't that slow. I think this is kinda like the obsession with cloud cover dictating whether a cricket ball will swing - all pundits and former players agreed on it being true but nobody quite knows how to explain why.
When they say it is slow, I think what they really mean is - how the ball bounces once it hits the ground.
Cool. I think I'll have a watch when someone good plays someone good. Muzza got a chance to get to the final?

Tennis.
Muzza will get Canadian howitzers served at him late tonight. He has to face Federer in all likelihood to make the final, so I'd say, probably not.
Ivanovic is little bit prettiest wife.
Murray played pretty well last time he faced Federer, I think.
Errani beating Kerber is a semi-shock. Although Kerber has played about 876 tournaments this year. Some of the women really don't know how to plan their schedule.
Vinci has battered Radwanska 6-1 in the first set.
Radwanska has problems in the heat. The possible shoulder injury could be a factor too.
Cilic took the first set 7-5 against Klizan. Klizan is currently a break up at 4-3 in the second.
Sure but not a Grand Slam (Murray won't have the advantage he figured he had in the Olympics of Federer having no experience of winning it), plus Federer will rightly be the favourite - Federer hasn't lost in the US Open without it being against a superhuman performance since 2002.
Vinci vs Errani would be interesting given I think they are still in the doubles together.
Cilic broke back, held, then broke again to take the second set 6-4.
Awlful game from Klizan there.
Vinci breaks to go 3-1 up in the second set!
Agga :rose:.
Vinci v Errani could be more awkward then Tomic v Dolgoplov at the Australian Open.
Radwanska breaks back! :haha:
Women's tennis.
Two match points for Vinci!
Vinci had it on her racquet, annihilates the net instead.
Vinci wins 6-1 6-4!
Radwanska.
Muzza vs Raonic could start at midnight apparently. Needs Cilic to finish off his match, which does seem likely.
Cilic wins 7-5 6-4 6-0.
Didn't take long.
Raonic hasn't been told the match might be on earlier.
:haha:

Serena Williams thrashed Andrea Hlavackova 6-0 6-0 to reach the quarter-finals of the US Open and cement her position as favourite.
Three-time champion Williams hit 31 winners and made only seven unforced errors to set up a clash against Serbia's Ana Ivanovic.
I suppose one does not require our resident tennis expert to tell us the beast is likely to win.
Radwanska .
Rain better stay the fuck away.
Anyone watching it? If Raonic serves well, there will probably about six rallies in the match.
Yeah I'll watch it. I think I will watch the first hour/set downstairs before watching it with my eyes half closed upstairs.
David Ornstein is doing live text commentary.
Can't do with just finding out about transfer rumours now.
I don't get why Raonic stands so far behind the baseline.
Raonic is the very definition of a beast.
Murray had a decent chance there to break.
You should get the set instantly when you break the serve of giant freaks.
Murray breaks with another successful drop shot. Two double-faults from Raonic though.
Murray serving for the set at 5-4.
Kirilenko and Petrova on the verge of knocking Serena and Venus out of the doubles. They're a set and a break up.
Murray takes the first set 6-4!
He was getting a real hold of Raonic's serve by the end of the set.
