Anyway, it's a climb down from Suarez (if the Mirror of all things is to be believed) but he doesn't really have a choice. "Support of the fans" - they have hardly supported him through this farce so more of a case of trying to calm the waters. He probably will sign a new contract, one which has a clear buy out clause rather than all this 'gentlemens agreement' bollox.
When all is said and done, we really are no weaker than we were last season. Squads been shit for a while now and at least we have seen a fair amount of dross leave the place before they have had a chance to inflict more damage.
Amazing how after all that, the scousers may offer a new contract. The contracts that are out there, are toilet paper. Arsenal were never really serious, that bid of a pound over 40M was a joke. We are inept at transfers/contracts. Where is all the money? We are saving shitloads now that we have gotten some of the plums off the books??

Pipedream signing if ever I saw one, never believed for one minute he was going to sign or that we were seriously after him. Should have gone after more realistic targets, but then maybe we might have had to spend some money so they probably thought it was a bad idea!

Trotting out the great fans line is a bit low but I don't expect anything less from a moron footballer. He'd be on strike if a decent club were in for him. Liverpool got lucky that only our pile of wank club wanted him.
I'm not too fussed about us sticking with Giroud, he's not that bad. What is piss boiling though is that we haven't strengthened anywhere else whatsoever!!
