You don't have to be running the game to be a matchwinner, more often than not players like that pop up with goals when you least expect it, one of the things that makes them great.

What are you on about, a lot of the best players don't show up all match and then get winners, you can't expect a player to run the game every match, the important thing is that they have an impact.

Ronaldo does that, just look at the amount of goals he's scored and the amount of trophies he's won.

Lot of pressure on that penalty, bit different to the average penalty. as you said he's a great player, his performances back that up a matchwinner in every season and i'd argue better than Messi based on the fact he's performed at the highest level.
