As far as I knew you bid £35m and then £40m+1. Where has the £40m and then a second with the +1 come from, which that seems to suggest was the case?

I reckon it was £35m and it got some short shrift from your lot, and 40m was mentioned by "someone" as a release clause, and we made a point....I seriously think that bid was off the back of Liverpool's reaction to our first bid.

What othe reason would there be, for us to behave like twats.
