I must admit. Modric aside. Spurs deal with transfers one hell of a lot better than we do. Fuck me, it awful to watch.

So does look like Cathorla was a replacement for Fabregas and Song. This is just annoying. Dealing in a lot of ifs here. Wenger knows we're an injury or little bit setback away from a big CM problem. That's why he was interested in Sahin in the first place. Getting to the stage where if last year's panic buy gets injured (Arteta), it's bad news. Wilshere cannot heal soon enough. We only have five fit CMs...
Le Parisien claim that Lyon have accepted a bid from Fulham for Michel Bastos.
Inter say Maicon has signed for city.
Hilarious.
stole this:
Official: Arsenal on the verge of completing the signing of Japanese international Fa Kin No-Wan on a four-year-deal. LOL.
On paper they are actually very good options. But like you say, it is dangerously reliant on chance which doesn't usually work out well for us. Forgot Chamberlain as a possible option, but it's not like the forward line is stacked. The fact that Wenger has been interested in the likes of Sahin and Essien suggests his 'confidence' is little more than chancing it. Let's hope it goes well eh.
sagna too perhaps. two broken legs in a season is no joke - even if he is made out of granite. no one was up for benny last season and he turned out to be one of the big bonuses. we'll see i guess. we would be fine with the current lot if so many weren't made of paper.
This is killing me slowly.
I was only saying that tongue in cheek mate.
Fuck knows what our bank balance is.
All I can say, is that if we don't buy anyone, it will be significantly healthier than it was a few months back.
Paul Merson
Merson couldn't even remember Cazorla's name
'e's a top drawer playa, I mean e's top top top drawer
Woss that lad they signed...yeah Cazzola...yeah different class...I ain't sure baht the other two
Just heard from GB that he's seen Thierry Henry at Heathrow, apparently with a new black-ink pen.
Just seems a shame that we did some really good business with Podolski, Giroud and Cazorla, and we don't follow it up with a couple more who could really make the difference.
It's always difficult to say who, because we work as a team...hence why some players who looked good with us, have gone on to be shit elsewhere....so always hard to say who we need to buy.
I just can't understand how it takes Spurs a couple of hours to pull a few good deals together, and we ask Chelsea if we can loan a broken leg breaker.
It's all bizzare. I just hope we have something in the side to suprise us this year
Broken Leg Breaker
Stealing that one. Actually want Arsene to sign BLB tbh brb.
:haha:
:pal:
:(
Pisses me off to see so much movement from other teams while we stay static. Other teams lose valuable players and replace them straight away. Us.....doesn't happen like that. Well, we have Liverpool next and I hope the players are confident about the season ahead. Last year, the lose of players took the wind out of our sails and put the transfer deadline dealings helped put confidence back into the team. I think we're taking a massive gamble on certain players staying fit.
Screw it.
We saw the Golden era some years ago and it is time to accept it just aint coming back.
Wenger probably wants to promote Eisfeld and Gnarby to the first team and thinks signing anymore midfielders will "kill" them.
