Great to hear but what about European wages to squad ratio rules... aren't we getting dangerously close to flouting them?

Very surprised the Isak situation seems to have gone quiet, although there is still time.
What will happen there ?
Surely he will be gone very soon.
Honestly I have no idea.
The breakdown I saw read like this:
So I can only assume that we are Ok :shrug:Quote:
The financial strength is backed by:
1. 3 consecutive 2nd place PL finishes
2. Consistent UCL QF & SF appearances
3. Growth in assets and overall revenue
Arsenal head into the closing stages of the transfer window in a very strong financial position
I hate all this players going on strike bollox. You’re being paid 6 figures every sodding week and you signed a contract, do your fucking job.
Newcastle have agreed a fee with Stuttgart for striker Nick Woltemade
That move has the potential to move the Isak deal forward, also quite possibly means that Fabio Vieira will complete move to Stuttgart
Marseille interested in Zinchenko but his wages could be an issue.
The Hincapie deal looks like it’s as good as done and Kiwior will join Porto as a result.
Yeah Sky have just confirmed Hincapie on a loan and £45m next season....like so many predicted there was no way Arteta would end the season without going for another left back
Medical to be announced soon and Kiwor, a proven CL standard defender, is off to Porto for a similar deal but half the money.
I’ve said many times that there needs to be an intervention against Arteta signing defenders, especially left sided centre halves. Some use drink, others drugs or gambling….thats his addiction.
Like the average British voter, he also refuses to accept the concept of trade offs, for every bit of control in midfield an inverted full back gives you, it also costs you attacking width
Slot seems to have the opposite problem, that by playing two wingbacks (Robertson at least managed the defensive balance, something TAA never managed) you will be great going forward but have zero control out of possession
I personally think MLS lacks the game awareness to play as a central midfielder, he can be good at protecting the ball at his feet because he’s got a low centre of gravity but no idea what’s going on around him.
But he’s young and that can develop
