Yup there is, the Santa Clause.

Not that I think it's anywhere near the same, but it was about this stage last summer when RVP was supposed to have been encouraged by the signing of Giroud and Podolski, and that he was considering staying put.
We won't get Suarez, unless we offer 50mil. That still stands.
Plans?
saw our squad list this morning. of the 20 first team players, 8 are apparently injured.
this summer is going to get even worse when its announced bentner is on the bench on saturday
I remember the days when Bendtner was praised on here.
I hate being right :(
I'm not the least bit worried about the coming season and our threadbare squad. This as it all boils down to expectations and realistically, I cant see us coming any higher than 4th again. Furthermore, Wenger, as deluded as he might be, is still a cunning old fox who's well aware of the shitness of the league. As such, he'll replenish the squad with more Arteta standard players before the window slams shut, thereby ensuring another glorious hold on the much coveted 4th place trophy come end of season. All will then be forgiven as he's once again hailed as a genius for spending bare minimum en route to securing CL footie, and more importantly, ensuring that the scum remain our shadow dwellers.
Summer then comes and Groundhog Day continues ad nauseum.
Surely the scum can't remain in the lurch forever, how shit do we have to get for that to happen ?
Last season was meant to be their year, and now this season it seems even more likely.
They've spent money and got rid of shit players, all the while there is still a chance Bale could stay.
Never question or underestimate the level of scum shitness, my pal. In all fairness, doing so should really have been a bannable offence on here, but for Letters' benevolence and penchant for overlooking slights.
I reckon this season they'll be clear by about 12 points and we'll still catch and nick their pathetic arse for 4th again.
wellington silvea has signed on a season long loan for someone. have we got any players left now?
Maybe we should try and sign Diego Ribas da Cunha, may be available on the cheap.
One of CKs "world class" players along with Ishmael Miller, Benzema and other players I can't remember
I remember when Diego and Robinho were huge news at Santos.
Now they're a bit shit.
Take heed Neymar...

Arsenal re-open Sagna talks & target Uchida
Arsene Wenger makes an effort to reinforce his defence, with the Schalke right-back seen as a long-term successor to the Frenchman in competition with Carl Jenkinson
Arsenal have made a fresh attempt to reinforce their defence by reopening contract talks with Bacary Sagna and making a move for Schalke right-back Atsuto Uchida, Goal can reveal.
It is understood that Sagna's representatives recommenced talks on a new deal with the club earlier in August but the two parties did not reach an agreement and it is still anticipated that he will leave when his contract expires next summer.
Arsene Wenger has now targeted Japanese defender Uchida to provide defensive cover this season and be groomed as a long-term replacement for Sagna. The Gunners have made recent contact with Schalke to enquire about signing the 25-year-old in the final weeks of the summer window.
Wenger wants a right-back who can fit in with the Gunners' playing style and be groomed to challenge Carl Jenkinson for the first-team slot if Sagna leaves.
Negotiations between Sagna and Arsenal collapsed at the end of last year after the Gunners refused to meet the player's demands for a two-year extension and an upgrade on his £60,000-a-week salary. He has entered the final year of his contract and can depart the Emirates Stadium on a free at the end of the season if there is no formal breakthrough in discussions.
Nevertheless, Wenger wants to hold on to Sagna this season because of the versatility that he brings to the defence.
The France international has filled in as a makeshift centre-back during pre-season in the absence of club captain Thomas Vermaelen, who is out until October with a back injury.
Arsenal have made moves to sign a fourth senior central defender this summer to challenge Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny and Vermaelen but have been unable to agree deals for principal targets Ashley Williams and Matthias Ginter.
Wenger has now shifted his focus to Uchida, who has two years remaining on his Schalke contract and could be available for around €5.9 million. The Japan international spoke earlier this year of his ambition to play in the Premier League.
Wenger also retains an interest in Sochaux right-back Sebastien Corchia, who is highly regarded in his native France.
The Arsenal boss had been ready to sell Sagna this summer following a breakdown in his relationship with the club in the final months of last season and question marks about his attitude. However, Paris Saint-Germain failed to follow up their interest in the France international with a concerted move and he is understood to have knuckled down well in pre-season.
sasuke uchiha
Sanogo is injured for the Villa match?
:haha:
What a horrific signing.
Forgot we had Monreal. He's not been good.
In fact none of the players injured bar maybe Vermaelen has much of a future here
Didn't really see too much of Monreal to justify his £11m move, but his goal against West Brom ( I think ) proved valuable enough in the end. Think Gibbs starts ahead of him for now though
Think he played v Tahiti.
He wasn't good.
His goal v Swansea was important but he was raped like a bitch against QPR and Aston Villa and hopefully he's sold to a Rayo Vallecano and Baines comes home
It was much less than £11m. And even £11m is nothing these days. Judging players on their transfer fees makes no sense anymore. Monreal didn't do anything spectacular, but he came halfway through the season. It would be best to judge him if he has a long run of games next year. A guy who was a regular for Malaga and is a Spain international should turn out to be a reliable player if nothing else.
I think he'll be a decent player for us. LB is probably the only position we actually have proper competition for.
Anyone posted this yet?
:lol:Quote:
Arsenal could be about to launch a double swoop for PSV midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, 22, and winger Zakaria Bakkali, 17, reports the Daily Express.
Although, Wijnaldum looks good On Paper™ and has an awlsome name.
Sign him up tbh.
Yes, well done.
Guess this guy must be incredibly dull and uninspiring in that case. Let's get an underbid in at least.Quote:

Gustavo off to Wolfsburg, who obviously offered the most in transfer fees/wages.
I'm done with this fucking club right now. Just when you think the player we've been in desperate need of becomes available, we can't even beat a team who aren't in the champions league. 4th each year, whats the point ?
Keep the faith my friend. We are at rock bottom and as a great woman once sang, the only way is up
