Bosnian starlet Edin Visca claims Arsenal have expressed an interest in his services, but he is refusing to read too much into the reports.
The 21-year-old winger has spent less than six months in Turkey with Istanbul BB, but he could be on the move again during the winter transfer window.
He says Arsenal are monitoring his progress, with Arsene Wenger always on the lookout for players of considerable potential.
Visca falls into the category and he is flattered to be linked with such a prestigious club.
He would find it difficult to snub a switch to England should the opportunity arise, but for now his focus remains locked on catching the eye in Istanbul.
Proud
"I am very proud that such a big club is interested in me," Visca told KiP.
"Who wouldn't be happy about that?
"But the truth is, right now I am an Istanbul BB player and that means I cannot think too much about the Gunners.
"Until something concrete happens, I will only think about Istanbul BB as I want to play in Turkey and be as good as I can.
"But, yes, I am happy and proud that such a big club wants me."
Good luck with thatQuote:
Germany international Marco Reus could still be in line for a big-money move to Arsenal despite confirming a summer transfer to Borussia Dortmund this week.

BBC gossip page has
1) Arshavin being considered surplus to requirements. . . .tel us something we dont know
2) 8mil bid for Poldolski. . .yay! . . . .in the summer. .WTF?
This guy needs to be bought now and to not fanny around with waiting for the cheapest possible price!
"Sky Sources" reckon we're considering Eric Abidal.
I'd take that for a short term fix.
32.
His contract is up in the summer so not much.
I presume so.
Us.
We've suddenly become Milan.
Abidal is absolutely gash.
You don't last that long at Barca if you don't have some ability.
Kalou
He's left the Ivory Coast training camp in Dubai (or Paris, could be either tbh) for talks. Thought to be with us. £3m fee for an experienced if inconsistent wideman/forward ain't bad. He's on £75k/w but wants £90k/w, hence why Chelsea want to let him go. Guess he'd be a more reliable option to Arshavin/Chamakh etc but this would mean we're not signing Podolski. Also he's cup-tied in the CL and is at the ACoN so the immediate impact is minimal. Also, he's pretty much identical to Gervinho but a slightly better finisher and worse dribbler.
Kalou is going to PSG.
Let's hope so. Though they've been linked to everyone (18 strikers so far according to Auclair on Football Weekly), Ancelotti must like him and wages wouldn't be an issue for them now.
Hunting around the bargain bin again
The annoying thing is we could probably get podolski now if we offered the right amount.
Agents say all sorts of shit. I'm sure he'd be singing a different tune if we put a fat wad of cash on the table. His contract is up next year I believe, so he's bound to have a lot of interest in the summer if he's still available, ideally we need to make a move before the vultures swoop but for some reason we're always so tentative.
We need to make a move for somebody of note soon, before we are completely forgotten as a viable club for the top players. Maybe we have another year before it's, "Arsenal who?" We also need 4th place or the whole slide into anonymity will be accelerated. Failure to sign the players we need this month and in summer will cost us in many ways. The board will have figured this out, of course. I suppose they are more interested in the ongoing discussions about plastering players' shirts with extra logos and fucking up the TV coverage by superimposing advertising on the pitch.
Kalou would be such an irritating signing.
Is Podolski a certain starter for Germany in the Euros? What position? I think he wouldn't want to come here right now because he knows he'd be shifted out wide and get less goals...which would then make him a less viable choice to play upfront for Germany. And he's a big name - His club know they'll get good interest in the summer. They might miss out on a few million (if we were prepared to pay over the odds right now...) but maybe having him scoring nearly a goal a game for another 5 months is worth that marginal loss in transfer fee. Plus Podolski would get a better choice of clubs.
You would imagine so, left of a front three (Mario Gomez central?). I dunno. Germany have had a few new ones performing brilliantly even since 2010. Goatse and that. But Podolski is a tournament specialist, leaving him out would be a bit weird.

Arsenal tell me reports of a deal for Kalou are untrue & that no talks are planned. Waiting to hear back from Chelsea #bbcfootball #afc

Reports of Kalou flying back to London are wrong. Just spoken to an Ivory Coast team-mate sat with him at squad base in Abu Dhabi!
Kalou is the new Biglia.
Who was the new Inler.
Who was the new Frey.
Who was the new Trabelsi.

Does this crook ever shut up about other clubs' players?
He'll be tapping up Ronaldo when he's England manager.
So we're definitely not getting another striker this month then
we should've known that before tonight really
we'll get in some sort of defensive cover though
