Why would that clear things up? That's not a good quote. As said, Wenger should avoid speaking on Chelsea if he doesn't want to get into it with Jose but if that's all a part of his plans then he's achieved that.

Wenger sounded silly by calling the transfer 'unfair' and even suggesting that it should be against the rules. There's nothing unfair about it and he's making himself an easy target for no reason.

He would have been better off cutting out the bullshit and saying that it was a sign that Mourinho is scared.
