This is a club 100% absorbed by money. The fact they happily and excitedly dismiss two more years of mediocrity and downhill slide because they'll be able to compete financially (translation, their pay off will be secured) by 2014 demonstrates their lack of understanding what's actually happening on the pitch and in the dressing room. There won't be a single decent player here in two years if things keep going this way and certainly nobody of any stature will want to come here, even when the promised extra cash is on the table. It's take more than a couple of improved sponsorship deals to dig the club out of this shit. The only silver lining is things are going so well for Kroenke. If he can keep his head down for a couple more years it's all gravy.
