Perhaps but why would he come out and say Spurs have dropped out, we said we'd bid and didn't and Shaktar are the only club who have an offer on the table. It's hardly going to drive up the price.

Of course it matters, if there are players more highly rated than this guy currently on the market and by the sounds of it, you think there are (talking about PSG, Monaco and Citeh here), well why aren't they trying to get them?

Tottenham ended up being the ones getting Bale, guess that shows his lack of talent too. It's so close minded to think, only a player is going to be any good if only the elite clubs get them - those clubs make mistakes too, or rather, they've already made their moves. They can't buy everyone and it's crazy to think they can.

I doubt Rooney would go abroad, Chelsea are trying to buy him. Plus there's still a month of the window remaining so there's still time for bids.

Suarez wants Champs Lge so that rules out Monaco. I also reckon other clubs are watching our situation and might enter the race for Suarez once it looks like Liverpool will sell.

I am surprised that zero top clubs have bid for this player as he's supposedly the next big thing and is for sale. You're not. We disagree so no point just going back and forth.
