He wouldn't have asked bottas to allow him to pass. He's doesn't have a habit of that.

The rules state, Drivers must not drive unnecessarily slowly, erratically or in a manner that could be deemed potentially dangerous to other competitors. Hamilton does this all the timer under safety car conditions and on formation laps. On some occasions I've seen him slow the pack to almost a complete stop. On this occasion he feinted to start and then dramatically reduced speed. He should have received a penalty for that, but it's Mercedes. Vettel then barged into him, deliberately, and received a stop go penalty and 3 points. So for Hamilton to then get on the radio and complain says a lot about the bloke.
